So wouldn't you agree that this is the fundamental problem you have when trying to understand evolution?..If you don't understand chromosome fusion in our DNA that shows one of the evidences for shared ancestry then how can you understand the other aspects of evolution?

Wow. If biologist and other scientist thought like this our society would be doomed. As I said early on in this discussion....no doctor or scientist in the respective fields would be worth their weight in gold if they didn't have an understanding of evolutionary biology.

That's the problem with taking the Bible literally, it effectively precludes evolution, thus making any reference to it moot. As it stands, mankind at 4004 B.C.E. (≈ claimed date of A&E's debut) had evolved into it's present species, Homo sapiens, most likely from H. erectus.

1) Evolutionist argument: Let me tell you how a car is made.

2) Creationist rebuttal: Tacos!

3) Evolutionist (confused): No, I was talking about cars.

4) Creationist: Motorcycles are so complex they must have a Creator.

5) Evolutionist: Yes, Harley Davidson has an efficient factory.

6) Creationist: Bananas fit in my hand, so I'm right about God.

7) Evolutionist: ??? Well, bananas fit it my hand, too, so does that make me right.

8) Creationist: No, you're going to hell so bananas don't matter.

9) Evolutionist: Sigh

10) Creationist: OK, so micro jelly beans I believe, but not macro beans.
