I am sceptical of the Skeptics. Is it wrong?

why is Quran invalid? can you back your assertion with the error or invalid content from Quran?
Because it makes high promises and ends up falling short. It imposes on itself, among other things, a need to have a working understanding of what atheism is. And it fails completely at fulfilling that self-imposed duty.

or do you claim so just because you don't trust it?

Seeing what it says and learning that it does not deserve my trust seems plenty enough, don't you think?

What does the Quran promise to be exact, per your assertion?

To be the pure expression of the knowledge and message of the One True God.

And, as a part of that, to know what he is talking about when it describes atheism and atheists.

I can assure you that in that specific part the Qur'an is completely out of touch with reality.

DARN! BUSTED!

I would have gotten away with it, too. Were it not for those meddling Muslims and their Qur'an.

Quran indeed teaches the One True God (monotheism). I think it is very logic. And it preaches to the mankind to believe in that God alone, the reward is a happy life in hereafter, otherwise hell.

My point exactly.

Either God is One, True and worth listening to, or he sees fit for atheism to be punished.

There is no way to reconcile both claims. At least one of the two is by necessity untrue. Being an atheist, I have the authority to know.

Yet the Qur'an insists that both are somehow true. To be honest with myself I must therefore accept the untruth of the Qur'an and have no fear of exposing it as such.

Quran is merely a warning book. It tells us the consequence of being an atheist. would you disbelieve the anchors just because they deliver the bad inconvenient news?

I wonder how could one entitle himself as a Budhhist while he denies the hell concept let alone the deity/God? Yet Buddhism do believe in those things.

No. I would disbelieve the news if I knew them to be false, though. And it turns out that I do.

it is untrue because it tells you, being atheist makes one goes to hell? bad news indeed hurts, however it is the warning actually.
It does not hurt, because it is self-contradictory and obviously untrue.

I am not afraid of the truth of the Qur'an. I know that it is not true at all.

I am far more worried about the misguidance that such a doctrine might cause among the living, believe me.

No, it actually does not.

Some of our saints do take vows to be reborn in the Hells in order to teach the Dharma, that much is true. But it is beyond premature to assume that this is comparable to the teachings of the Qur'an.

One of the main mistakes of the Qur'an is forgetting true religious teaching in order to make such insistent claims about things that are at best symbolical.

dude, you deny the quran because it threads the atheists or disbelieves with the hell, but you have to know Buddhism also believe in the hell.
