Okay... Now I understand. It's a commentary on the idiocy of opposing teaching evolution in schools. It does a pretty good job too. But it fails in my opinion when applied to belief in God as a whole.

he exists outside of time problems?

begotten is gotten with the greek word monogenes which means Unique, It more or less is saying that Jesus was unique sharing the same attributes as God as can be seen in other parts of the bible.
