I never knew that I was a victim of racism.

So if I understand you correctly, you feel some forms or racism against whites is justified due to injustices of the past? The examples I mentioned were

*Students preventing whites from entering
*Black Business charging white people more than black people
*Programs in place that help black people in business but not white people.

I’m gonna make a leap and consider you feel the 3rd mentioned is legitimate; is that correct? What about the other 2?

Uhhh... no. No form of racism is justified. I said organizations that help racial minorities with education, careers, etc. aren't racist because they often face challenges that white people generally don't.

I've gotten crap from people for just about everything but being white. Being a ginger, using my left hand, not believing in a god who answers prayers, hair style, being autistic, being trans, being a woman, being a metalhead, being a neo-pagan, being poor, my feet pointing outwards, being a nerd, the music I like, books I read, games I play, the way i dress that's all happened but being white? That one definitely has never given me trouble. I even know one example where it helped shield me from the nasty side someone's attitude. I had to hide my mental illnesses from her, however, because she looked down on what she called "those people."

Do you understand there are those who do see these systems as racist? Also did you agree the other 2 examples I gave were racist? Or do you also see them as justified?

Curious; would you be equally offended if someone gave you grief for being white as you would be if they gave grief for being trans, women, metalhead etc.?

I agree and have similar experiences. Never was I mistreated for being, or actually passing for, white. In fact, being that I am mostly white and passable as a woman, I have almost had "special" treatment. I don't consider being called a cracker, one time only, a serious racist attack against me.

*For the record and anyone reading that doesn't know, I am Melungeon or sometimes called (Kentucky) Creole.... which is just historically mixed race.

Probably. Though I find that a very odd question.

I was once denied employment as a reactor
operator at U of M's Phoenix Memorial
Nuclear Reactor. The director said specifically
he was prohibited from hiring a white male.
There've been many other minor things,
usually from blacks, & Chinese relatives.
Meh....

I was in a presentation at work yesterday, a panel discussion about veterans and anti-government extremist radicalization, and one of the presenters showed some survey research results: 34% of the general public, and 27% of veterans expressed agreement with the (racist) Great Replacement Theory ideology. If you're not familiar with it, it's more popularly known as the "white genocide" theory, where immigration, abortion, and rising birth rates for people of color are causing there to be more people of color, which benefits the Democratic party, who therefore encourage it. That number was scary high to me.
Police and military lean hard to the Right. They're authoritarian, hierarchical, and tend to oppose democratic movements.

We Never Know

No Slack

"Donald Trump voters believe that racism against white Americans has become a bigger problem than racism against Black Americans.

The survey of 1,638 U.S. adults, which was conducted from July 13-17, shows that among 2020 Trump voters, 62% say that racism against Black Americans is a problem today — while 73% say that racism against white Americans is a problem."

But wait, there is more:

"Asked how much of a problem racism currently is, just 19% of Trump voters describe racism against Black Americans as a “big problem.” Twice as many (37%) say racism against white Americans is a big problem."

I am sorry if I made anyone else feel like a victim too.
1638 people surveyed of 74+ million? Hell my little town has more people than 1638 lol

What does that have to do with what's going on today?

The impact of slavery and the persecution that followed, including purposeful economic discrimination, terrorism, and racist legislation doesn't simply go away. The history isn't that far from us, either. Rosa Parks died in 2005. Carolyn Bryant, the woman who accused Emmett Till of sexual assault, died last April. The KKK still exists, and Neo-Nazis are very much still around.
