If you are an Athiest and you were forced to choose a Monothiestic religion i.e Christianity, Judiasm, Islam.
Which of these three would you chose and why.

I wouldn't choose any of the three, would rather choose Bahai'i. It's monotheistic. But the fact that I would have to lie about my beliefs in order to avoid death is ridiculous. I hate to see what the state of my country would be in for this to be happening.

EDIT: Tried to delete post, but can't. I am not atheist so this doesn't quite apply to me lol.

I don't know why it's limited to these three.

To be honest if I could put one above the others, and if I was sure it was the right religion for me above any religion, I would probably already made the jump even as the atheist/agnostic I am which is just a technicality in my eyes.

No, I meant is the question posed to agnostics as well. But, thinking about it, there is quite a bit of difference between most atheists and agnostics, so probably not.

It isn't the worst thing.:)
I've almost turned it into a 'positive' thing.:D

I personally think it is bad if it is under the threat of "force".....If you're forced into one of the Abrahamic Faiths and decide to leave them and not accept either one...what would be the consequences....

If I was forced to choose a religion, I'd no doubt choose the one threatening me and/or my family with death if I didn't choose it.
What other logical path for choosing a monotheistic religion would there BE for a non-believer?

So in modern times the most likely option is Islam and the least likely Judaism.

Aren't you the extreme one. So you have faith that your way of life is superior then embracing any of these 3 religions.

This strikes me as a strange turn of phrase. Paying lip service to a religion to save your own life from fundies is nothing at all like 'embracing a religion'.

I'm unsure what point you're attempting to make, to be honest.

Wow. This post of yours and the previous one might as well come from the Star Trek mirror universe...

Peace be upon you.
Many religious people aren't theistic, and vice-versa. I'm theistic but I've never been a 'standard' Xian, or practiced standard Judaism etc. They truly are unrelated terms outside of context.

Peace be on you. I believe deep down in hearts everyone believes in a Supreme power.
