No, that is not what I am saying, and sorry for the confusion. Of course there is self-awareness. I am referring to the notion of duality, where 'self and other'; 'observer and observed'; and 'this and that' seem to be realities to the conditioned mind. Energy that is self-aware is awakened consciousness and tends to see things in non-dual terms.

The prisoners in the cave believe that the shadows cast upon the cave walls represent reality. IOW, theirs is a conditioned view which has fossilized into dogma. I am using this as a metaphor for the materialist paradigm. It is the new view, that of Quantum Physics, which breaks the materialist paradigm, one which the materialists still refuse to accept. Clinging to the notion of a material world provides security and comfort. Heaven forbid that the world really is made up of Nothing at all! But this 'Nothing' turns out to be a very special kind of Nothing, far more compelling than the boring static material view of the world.

So. Would you like to take a giant step out of the cave and into the Sunlight?

All this being natural and expected...until the the seeker for truth realizes the source of their self is all there is......and that which casts the shadow and the shadow are one.....which is also natural...

I really do not know. Neither I think the scientists know. They are working on it. Standard model, Many worlds or something else. All these are speculations which may need to be revised in future.

I would alter that description to say that Consciousness, Pure Abstract Intelligence, is what manifests the entire Universe, which includes all those forms of energy, altogether comprising the ecstatic cosmic dance. Consciousness, the Source itself, is without form, color, taste, sound, odor, as it is beyond description. It is No-Thing, and yet, Every-Thing comes out of it.

It is because there is a void that Everything can be. An infinite Everything needs an infinite Nothingness. But it does not exist in linear time; only in this timeless Present Moment.
