Yes it is. There are more than 23,000 mss use to form the NT. That is more than any records left for anyone else in history. You from personal unbeief, and without any evidence, are willing to reject the gospels as history.
Buddha left a lot of teachings and direct disciples, including a very large Tipitaka.
There is no doubt Buddah lived and was a great teacher, but he did not leave as much evidence a s God did for Jesus. The records of Buddha are much older that the NT mss, why do you accept them andnbot the NT?
Meanwhile Jesus is described in remarkably allegorical terms in four largely mutually referential Gospels that were written decades after his supposed life, from a very few sources that are nearly lost to us
,
AT times Jesus is described in allegorical terms, but most of the time He is not. When He taught in the temple, that is not allegorical; when He performed miracles, that is not allegorical. Evidently you don't understand allegory. It is used to present the subject in a more descripive way and one that can be understood personally.
--I Am the Bread of life----I am the spiritual food that sustains your spiritual life.
--I am the Light of the world---I am the Guide of your spiritual life
--I am the true vine---I am the source of your spiritual life---a branch must be attached to the vine or it will die.
Behold, the Lamb of God---I will be sacrificed for your sins.
and even then a political decision had to be made to decide which sources to disregard and which to keep.
Another statement for which you have no evidence.
