Evidence of the great interactions between Hinduism and Buddism since time immemorial in India, such that Hinduism and Buddhism are inseparable within India. My father in law was a stauch Hindu but he acknowledged Buddha as Buddadev.

You seem to be implying that I stated somewhere that the two were unrelated or disconnected. I never said or even implied this.

All I said it that it was unlikely that Buddhism is a branch of Hinduism due to Gautama Buddha’s apparent limited knowledge of Hinduism.

I’m sorry, but I do not see what point you’re attempting to make in asking me for evidence or understand what you’re asking me to provide you evidence of.

Some put the date between 5,000 and10,000 years ago.
Wiki puts the actual text at around 400 BCE (a couple hundred years after Buddha,) with the origins of the epic around the 8th or 9th century BCE (a few hundred years before Buddha,) which is why I asked.

So there is no organisation that manages the administration of Theravada Buddhism?
No there , each temple has a monk who are in "charge" of the daily life there, the only organisation there is, is that example here in Norway we have a registration that we are buddhists. But on the world basis there is not a organisation that is political based

Who first coined the word 'Theravada'?

No Dalai lama is head of tibetan buddhism, and tibetan buddhsm is Mahayana buddhism not Theravada buddhism
He's actually the head of the Gelugpa sect, just one sect of Tibetan Buddhism.
