Yea, it is written in the Book of Cyril...
Did I say that? lol

I'd be the first to admit something if I'm shown to be wrong. How about you?

Obama saying that if he had a son it would look like Trayvon Martin. Lots of people saw racism. I didn't. I got the point without the BS. Same with Trump. If you hate him, you see all the reasons to fortify your hatred.

Enjoy your dragon.
Looked like what you were saying to me.

Well, I commented that I don't believe Trump is racist anymore that I believe Obama was racist. There's plenty on both sides to try and make me see differently. But the reasons given are not a strong argument enough to use that label on a sitting President.

It's like the travel ban. He didn't hate Muslims. He hated the ideology coming into the country that was killing people, from those countries.

I learned the tactics of "name calling" in elementary school. And separated myself from it by seeing beyond the words, and discover for myself what to think.

Same with Trump. If you hate him, you see all the reasons to fortify your hatred.

Except Trump is clearly and blatantly hateful when he says things. There is no need to stretch what he says. It's perfectly clear. How does one misinterpret sayings like: "Knock the crap out of them would you? I'll pay for your legal fees. I promise"?

This is the man you're defending. A sad joke of a president.

"Part of the problem is...nobody wants to hurt each other anymore. Right?"- Donald Trump

I understand. You'd have to tear down the thought process behind it.

Unless a thought can be dis-proven, it's view remains.

Tear down what? So what....Half of white Americans that ar epolled thinks Trump is racist yet that is not sufficient? We have documented evidence Trump has made seemingly racist comments and it is not good enough? Seemingly racist by the way is racism nonetheless. There is nothing seemingly about racism it either is or it isn't. In Trump's case it is.

That's fine and fair.

As naive as I do sound, IMO, he was playing to his polical party.

But you are right. He is on record for saying many racist things so I can't deny that.

There were plenty republicans that ran before him and noe of them played with the idea of insulting someone's ethnic heritage. None have talked about grabbing women by the you know what. None of them were exposed as much as Trump was regarding his infidelities.

Yes, and he won. I'm just saying. It's sad that his rhetoric won him the presidency.

"won"? Really? He "won" as a Consolation Prize-- akin to a Participation Trophy.

He no more "won" than Obama was a secret muslim....

#NotMyPresident.

Technically, he won the presidency. Look, I didn't vote for him either but focusing on the past is not going to change the fact that he's still our president. The # movement is not going to do anything.

Let's move on to what we can control and that is to be in better position of the house and for the next presidential elections. We know how we failed before. Let's not make the same mistakes and push forward.

Like that hasn't been the norm on both sides. "Fry em up and cook them like bacon" "dead cops now" (BLM)

Deplorables. All.

But the problem often is that if one is racist themselves, that is their "reality", so they don't see it as being anything bad, thus they'll often deny it even when it's obvious to others. Them they often try and turn it around and blame others for doing the same, as if two wrongs make a right.

Underlined the key words for you, and made them red.

Nearly everyone south of 1960's would be perceived as a racist by modern convention. And, your point was? :D

This is like saying because my grandfather was racist (and he was, by modern definition), so was my dad, and so am I. It's so utterly absurd it's barely worth addressing other than to have a laugh at your expense, which I assure you am doing right now. :D
The KKK has always been considered racist in its contemporary context since its members started wearing hoods.

True. Comments like what you made I have to pull my own coat tell and tell myself "who am I asking?"
