Is Heaven, Nirvana etc the goal?

Muffled

Jesus in me
I don't want to exist for eternity even if it was some place good, because eventually everything loses its appeal and there's no new experiences. Also the idea of spending time with the God of the bible is a terrifying proposal.

I believe you don't have a choice whether to exist or not. Your only choice will be whether to spend eternity with God or in Hell.

I believe a philosopher of religion does not create scripture. You can delude yourself into thinking it is true but it never will be.
Baha'u'llah was not a philosopher, He was a Messenger of God who wrote His own scripture.
Jesus did not write any scripture. You can delude yourself into thinking it is true but it never will be.
All we have is what men wrote that Jesus allegedly said, written down decades later. Hardly the words of Jesus.

Your right I didn't choose to exist, but there's no evidence of a christian after life so your threats of hell do not scare me.

I believe if I say that the road you are on does not take you to the beach but to a volcano then I have not threatened you. I haven't even warned you. All I have done is told you the truth about your situation.

I believe I have never heard of a Christian afterlife but I certainly have heard many speak of an afterlife.

I believe I have to laugh at the idea of evidence of an afterlife. You have to be dead to know about it unless you are God who knows everything. The problem is that you don't believe that God has told you what is the afterlife.

I Cor. 15:38 But God gives it a body as he has chosen, and to each kind of seed its own body.
I know God gives us a new body (a new form) because Baha'u'llah wrote that.

“The world beyond is as different from this world as this world is different from that of the child while still in the womb of its mother. When the soul attaineth the Presence of God, it will assume the form that best befitteth its immortality and is worthy of its celestial habitation.” Gleanings From the Writings of Bahá’u’lláh, p. 157

However, your verse does not say that people will spend eternity in a new body on earth.

I believe that saying by the B man is about Heaven not about eternal life in a body.

I believe you are right but it is the best reference to a body that fits in with the Resurrection into eternal life on earth. I am trying not to burden you with the whole Bible.

What Baha'u'llah wrote is about eternal life in Heaven in a new body, which He refers to as a form that best befits our immortality and is worthy of our celestial habitation (eternal life in Heaven).

I know of nowhere in the Bible where it says that we will be resurrected into eternal life on earth.
Paul said that
there are two different kinds of bodies:

--- The glory of the heavenly bodies is different from the glory of the earthly bodies.
--- For just as there are natural bodies, there are also spiritual bodies.

Paul says that our physical bodies cannot inherit the Kingdom of God, and that means they cannot exist in Heaven. When Paul says these dying bodies cannot inherit what will last forever, he is referring to the spiritual world (Heaven), which will last forever. Our physical bodies will die and we will be raised (resurrected) as spiritual bodies that will be suited to go to Heaven and last forever.

1 Corinthians 15:40-54 New Living Translation

40 There are also bodies in the heavens and bodies on the earth. The glory of the heavenly bodies is different from the glory of the earthly bodies.

44 They are buried as natural human bodies, but they will be raised as spiritual bodies. For just as there are natural bodies, there are also spiritual bodies.

50 What I am saying, dear brothers and sisters, is that our physical bodies cannot inherit the Kingdom of God. These dying bodies cannot inherit what will last forever.

51 But let me reveal to you a wonderful secret. We will not all die, but we will all be transformed!

54 Then, when our dying bodies have been transformed into bodies that will never die,[c] this Scripture will be fulfilled: “Death is swallowed up in victory.[d]

I believe by going by Jesus that I am going by God and you by going by the B man are going by a religious philosopher.
I believe you going by Jesus is going by what God wanted during the Dispensation of Jesus and me going by Baha'u'llah is what God wants me to go by in this New Dispensation, which is the Dispensation of Baha'u'llah.

Dispensation
  1. the divine ordering of the affairs of the world.
  2. an appointment, arrangement, or favor, as by God.
  3. a divinely appointed order or age:
e.g. the old Mosaic, or Jewish, dispensation; the new gospel, or Christian, dispensation.

Definition of dispensation | Dictionary.com

````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````
John 14:6 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
Is really no different from what Baha’u’llah wrote regarding the way to the Father in this age...
“The first duty prescribed by God for His servants is the recognition of Him Who is the Day Spring of His Revelation and the Fountain of His laws, Who representeth the Godhead in both the Kingdom of His Cause and the world of creation. Whoso achieveth this duty hath attained unto all good; and whoso is deprived thereof, hath gone astray, though he be the author of every righteous deed.” Gleanings From the Writings of Bahá’u’lláh, pp. 330-331
There are spiritual bodies in Heaven, according to Paul.
