Is it wrong to advocate homosexuality as a sin?

rejecting the very person that created you is the ultimate sin. To reject is very existence and spit on him is wrong. To say that Jesus did not die for a reason is wrong. I still have issues with this as well, but who are we to guess at God's motives?

Unless He doesn't, in which case it would be right.

All my beliefs come from the bible which is the word of God. I am obligated to tell you where to find God's word because I care about your eternal soul.

However, I've been told that we're not supposed to care about anyone's souls on this forum. So we're not supposed to tell them how to avoid hell. So you don't have to worry about being scared as long as you're on this forum. You can just pretend that you determine what happens after you die. :)

Well at least I don't pretend to know.

O.K. great, now we know where (you think) you're getting your beliefs from--the Bible. Now, how did you happen to choose that particular holy book? Why the Bible? Did you do a comparison study of all the world's holy books? Did you just start and end there? Were you maybe introduced to it as a child and were satisfied with that?

How do you know the Bible contains God's word? On what do you base that belief?

Neither do I pretend to know. I leave that up to our Lord who showed the world unequivocally that only He knows. ;)

right. Homosexuality is a sin. It is as bad as murder, or gossip. In the end all sins are the same.

You are not born a gay. You choose to be one. Every guy likes girls. There is not a guy in the world who wouldnt look at a half naked woman and not like it. I would look away, because, "For he who lusts after a woman has commited adultury." (I forget where that is in the Bible)

And I especially love the invented facts and utter lack of imagination. So what you're saying is that there are no gay men in the world? What are they faking it to gain social privilege, or what? I have to ask: how old are you? Because you are a tonic.

I was not saying that I want to cast other people in hell. I want to see as many people inside of heaven's gates as possibe.

I suppose that you could become gay, if raised in a gay home, or in differant environments than a typical home, but other than that my scource is pretty much testosterone (being a teenage boy)

So what you're saying is that children raised by gay parents are more likely to be gay than children raised by straight parents? Would it surprise you to learn that you are wrong?

Everyone is born in sin so none of us can help our lust, greed, envy, sloth, pride, gluttony and anger. So heterosexuals can no more help their lust than homosexuals can.

So one has two choices; either decide to become a slave to those things or admit them as sin and accept God's glorious forgiveness. If one chooses the latter, then he has love and forgiveness in his heart instead of lust, envy, greed, gluttony, anger and sloth. But if one rejects Christ's forgiveness, then he becomes a slave to gluttony, greed, lust, pride, sloth, anger and envy and lives his life to act our and flaunt those things. :)

That reminds me, you never answered me:
What are your views on Rev. Fred Phelps?
Are you a Calvinist?
Thanks.

I'm no more a Calvinist than I'm a Jonesian if I agree with my neighbor, Mr. Jones, on certain issues. But Calvin is right about TULIP because it's all biblical. :)

right. Homosexuality is a sin. It is as bad as murder, or gossip. In the end all sins are the same.

Such ignorance. How can something that victimizes and violates the rights of innocent people be just as bad as something that harms no one? The "goodness" and "badness" of actions should be weighed by their results and consequences.
For words that supposedly came from an omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, and omnibenevolent being, he certainly didn't invest a whole lot of thought or logic into them, did he.

I figured as much. And Rev. Phelps? Are you familiar with his positions? Do you agree with them?

You don't know that the Bible contains the word of God? I'm confused. Does it or doesn't it? If so, do you know it or not?

Auto, maybe you should present my arguments as you seem to get a response.
The results will be the same. Obviously, Carico has no answer that even she finds acceptable, so she'll simply continue to ignore inconvenient questions.

I have found when dealing with religionists who lack the common courtesy to respond to polite questions, after repeating them 2 or 3 times, it sometimes helps to resort to large colored fonts.

Homosexuals guilty? Heavens no! They're as pure as the driven snow, nothing but sinless gods! :D So say unbelievers. :D

The response will just be yet another question begging statement.

See? Carico doesn't have an answer to the substantive arguments made here, so all Carico can do is say things like this.

Really? Can you produce the post or PM where you were told this or anything vaguely like it?

...apparently you were lying.
