Is it wrong to advocate homosexuality as a sin?

Now that we have a nice census of anti-gay Christians, can any of you direct me to the verse where God prohibits lesbianism? (not where Paul tells a story about it, but where God says "Don't do it.") Thanks.

Homosexuals guilty? Heavens no! They're as pure as the driven snow, nothing but sinless gods! :D So say unbelievers. :D

So explain how, exactly, does homosexuality victimize or violate the rights of innocent people? We need actual, real world reasons why homosexuality is "bad". What some dead goat herders said in some silly book is irrelevant.

For supposedly having the truth and god on your side, you do put forth some pretty ****-poor arguments. I would've expected something more sound, solid and convincing. You do god a disservice by assuming to represent him and speak on his behalf.

You know how men are. They wrote the bible and probably didn't specifically forbid women having sex with each other because they want to watch.

Oh, idea! Why don't we just all drop whatever we believe in and convert to the worship of Charlie! He is the banana king, after all. :flirt: Peace!

That's an oxymoron. Titus 1:16 "They claim to know God but by their actions deny him. They are detestable and unfit for anything good."

In other words...no, you don't have a verse that prohibits lesbianism. Thank you.

Yup. Romans 1:26, "In the same way, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones." ;) That's in the passage where God says that people do what ought not to be done.

I thought "unnatural lusts" referred to people wanting Pabst Blue Ribbon beer.

Right. That's actually Paul talking, not Jesus, and not someone saying "Hey, I just got this message from God...." You know, the passage that was already referenced in the original question? But thanks anyway.

Carico, let me help you out here. For your own good do some remedial reading on critical thinking skills. I highly recommend to you the book "Asking the Right Questions" by Neil Browne/Stuart Keeley. Your arguments so far on this forum would be comical if they weren't soooooo sad.

No, no, I was looking for a commandment. The part where God commands us not to do it, as he does 613 times in the Old Testament alone. Doesn't God command women not to be lesbians, or not to engage in lesbian sex, or anything? Because I'm sure you agree that God gives us very clear commandments on a wide variety of subjects. Surely, if this one is so sinful, He must have prohibited it somewhere in the thousands of pages in the Bible. No where? Nowhere at all?

What about divorce? What does Jesus tell us about divorce?
