Is Jesus the God of the Bible? Introductory and other evidence.

430 years according to the Hebrew text. And also the Septuagint agrees. So what evidence do you have to propose that the Hebrew and the Septuagint are both incorrect?

... It was not considered on par by the Jews themselves. They did not include it. Why did Jesus never rebuke them for not including the book of Enoch? The Jews certainly knew of the book of Enoch. It's fragments are in the dead sea scrolls. But they did not include it in their Tanakh. Although it's been admired and cherished by people for thousands of years.

Look, I don't deny some of the visions in the book of Enoch are amazing and I believe that some of them were probably true. But to claim the whole book of Enoch is true is naive. The book of Enoch has a lot of good things to say but that doesn't mean the stories in it are all true stories.

I suggest that you be very certain of yourself before proclaiming a gospel of Enoch. Even Paul went back to the Jerusalem church to check his doctrines with the apostles. Although Paul had the holy Spirit and had done great miracles yet he wanted to be extra certain of his many profound revelations. (Galatians 2:2) So how sure are you about all this?

Although we love Enoch and think he was a great prophet; yet we don't think Elijah is the Messiah just because he was taken to heaven. Enoch did not ascend into heaven by his own strength. He was not "for God took him". So Enoch was taken(caught away, raptured).

Jesus is the only One who proved Himself to be the Messiah. When the holy Spirit landed upon Him appearing as a dove that was His Anointing when He began His ministry. Immediately after this event Jesus was driven into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.

To me Jesus is God and that's revealed in plan black and white in the scriptures. The Ethiopic book of Enoch does not disagree either.

The Anointed…… The Septuagint does not agree with the Hebrew text which states that Israel was in the land of Egypt for 430 years. The Septuagint states that the sojourning of the children of Israel, while they sojourned in the land of Egypt and Canaan was 430 years, this agrees with Paul, who was taught by Gamaliel, one of the premier teachers of the Law in the first century, who says in Galatians 3: 17; “What I mean is that God made a covenant with Abraham and promised to keep it. The law that was given 430 years later, cannot break that covenant and cancel God’s promise.”

So which covenant was Paul referring too?

The covenant made when Abraham was 99, in Genesis 17: 1-2, which was 190 years before Jacob and his family moved into Egypt.

Or was it the covenant that was made in Genesis 15: 18; immediately after which, at the age of 85, Abraham sired his first Son ‘Ishmael’. This was 205 years before Jacob with his family entered Egypt.

Or was it when Abraham was 75 and God made and an agreement with him, Genesis 12: 1; That if he would leave, his country, his relatives and his fathers home and go to the land of Canaan, he promised to give that land to him and his descendants forever. This was 215 years before Israel entered Egypt, and left 215 year later, 430 years after the sojourning of the children of Israel in the land of Egypt and Canaan, when the Lord then gave them the law through his servant Moses.

74x12 wrote…... It [The books of Enoch] was not considered on par by the Jews themselves. They did not include it. Why did Jesus never rebuke them for not including the book of Enoch?

The Anointed…….. Referring to the Jewish authorities and not the Roman church which would not be established by Emperor Constantine until some 300 years after his ascension, Jesus said in reference to Enoch, “The stone that the builders rejected has turned out to be the most important stone of all.”

74x12 wrote……The Jews certainly knew of the book of Enoch. It's fragments are in the dead sea scrolls. But they did not include it in their Tanakh.

The Anointed……. They certainly did know of the book of Enoch, but the authorities of the Jewish church rejected Enoch.

74x12 wrote…… Although it's been admired and cherished by people for thousands of years.

The Anointed……. Not by the authorities of the Jewish church and not by the Roman church who banned it in the fourth century, after which it passed out of circulation and was thought lost for millennia.

74x12 wrote……. Look, I don't deny some of the visions in the book of Enoch are amazing and I believe that some of them were probably true. But to claim the whole book of Enoch is true is naive. The book of Enoch has a lot of good things to say but that doesn't mean the stories in it are all true stories.

The Anointed……. In your opinion.

I 74x12……. I suggest that you be very certain of yourself before proclaiming a gospel of Enoch. Even Paul went back to the Jerusalem church to check his doctrines with the apostles.

The Anointed……. Paul went back to the Jerusalem church of Jesus, whose brother James, sat on the Episcopal throne of that new church, not to the Jewish church, to check his doctrines with the apostles, who taught from the books of Enoch.

Where in the OT that you rely on did Peter learn that the day is coming when this universe is destined to burn up and the heavenly bodies will be melted by the heat and disappear? Nowhere!

But he could have received that information from the Books of Enoch, who was escorted to the ends of time, where he witnessed the heaven burn up and fall as massive columns of fire beyond all measure in height or depth into the Great Abyss [Black Hole] which he described as the prison of all the stars and the host of heaven.

From where do you think that the apostles received the information that the angels who forsook their own original abode and came down and defiled themselves with the daughters of Man, were chained I everlasting darkness until the day of their consummation? Nowhere in your OT. But is to be found in the books of Enoch.

Jude, who is Thomas Didymus Jude, the half-brother of Jesus and James, quoted verbatim from the Books of Enoch,

74x12 wrote……. Although Paul had the holy Spirit and had done great miracles yet he wanted to be extra certain of his many profound revelations. (Galatians 2:2) So how sure are you about all this?

The Anointed……. Stephen, a man most blessed by God, who is said to have performed miracles and who is said to have been filled with the Holy spirit, said in Acts 7: 4; that Abraham didn’t travel to the land of Canaan until after the death of his father, which was wrong, Terah, who sired Abraham when he was 70 years old, was 145 when Abraham, at the age of 75, left him with his other son Nahor, where he died 60 years later at the age of 205. See Genesis 11: 31.

Stephen also said in Acts 7: 15-16; That Jacob went to Egypt where he and his sons died and that their bodies were taken to Shechem and buried in the grave that Abraham had bought from Hamor for a sum of money. Which again is seen to be wrong. Abraham bought the family grave site from Ephron at Macphelah east of Mamre, which is was to the south of Shechem, See Genesis 23: 17, and it was there that Abraham, Sarah, Jacob and his sons were buried, Only the bones of Joseph were taken to Shechem and buried there.

74x12…… Although we love Enoch and think he was a great prophet; yet we don't think Elijah is the Messiah just because he was taken to heaven.

The Anointed……. The Jews do.

Malachi 3: 1-2; The Lord Almighty answers. I will send my messenger to prepare the way for me [Elijah] Then the Lord you are looking for will suddenly come to his Temple, [His earthly host body]. The messenger you long to see will come and proclaim my covenant. But who will be able to endue the day when he comes? Who will be able to survive when he appears?

74x12 wrote……Enoch did not ascend into heaven by his own strength. He was not "for God took him". So Enoch was taken (caught away, raptured).

The Anointed……. Neither did Elijah, who is soon to appear on earth in his chosen earthly host body as did Enoch appear in the body of Jesus, his chosen earthly host body, ‘Temple.’.

In Mark 9: 10; The disciples ask Jesus; “Why do the teachers of the law say that Elijah must come first? Jesus answered… ”Elijah is indeed coming first to get everything ready [Future tense] Yet why do the scriptures say that the Son of Man , will suffer much and be rejected? I tell you, however that Elijah has already come and that people treated him just as they pleased, as the scriptures say about him.” [As the scriptures say about HIM, 'Elijah.']

74x12 wrote……. Jesus is the only One who proved Himself to be the Messiah. When the holy Spirit landed upon Him appearing as a dove that was His Anointing when He began His ministry. Immediately after this event Jesus was driven into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.

The Anointed…… The man Jesus was indeed chosen to be our high priest and King in the order of Melchizedek.

74x12 wrote……. To me Jesus is God and that's revealed in plan black and white in the scriptures. The Ethiopic book of Enoch does not disagree either.

The Anointed……And you are entitled to believe as you will, but as long as you believe the words that the Lord put into the mouth of the man that he chose from among the Israelites and set him to speak in his name, you will be saved.

God cannot die; so He had to have a body in order to die. (Hebrews 10:5) He prepared a body in the womb of Mary. This body would be the ultimate sacrifice. The Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world.

Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not; but a body hast thou prepared me: whole-burnt-offering and sacrifice for sin thou didst not require. Then I said, Behold, I come: in the volume of the book it is written concerning me, I desired to do thy will, O my God, and thy law in the midst of mine heart. (Psalm 40:6-8 Septuagint)

Jesus whole mission was reconciliation. The reconciling of man to God. (Blessed are the peacemakers ...) It was necessary for God to become man in order to return mankind to Himself.

2 Corinthians 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
  • God is love. Love is proved through actions more than words. God proves His love through Jesus' death. "greater love than this hath no one, that any one his life may lay down for his friends;"
  • God is the good and the beautiful Shepherd (Psalm 23) who gives His life for the sheep. He does this because He truly cares for the sheep.
In Psalm 102:19-21 we find that God looks down from heaven to earth to "hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death;" So it is God Himself that saves us from death and how does He do it? By the resurrection power. By overcoming the grave.

For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary; from heaven did the Lord behold the earth; To hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death; To declare the name of the Lord in Zion, and his praise in Jerusalem; (Psalm 102:19-21)

And we know Jesus is the priest of the order of Melchizedek. He is our "intercessor". (Romans 8:34) In Isaiah 59:16, we find that there was no man worthy to be the intercessor. So God's own arm brought salvation to Him. God alone has done all this.

And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him. (Isaiah 59:16)

God is the bridegroom. The Lover of humanity. Adam foreshadowed God's own love when he ate the forbidden fruit just so he would not be parted from Eve. Adam was not deceived. Only Eve was. The Love of God for us is the same way and God tasted death on our behalf to purchase for Himself a bride.

For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee: and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee. (Isaiah 62:5) In conclusion the Love nature of God proves that Jesus must be God manifest.

You are referring to the God who says in Revelation 21: 8; But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars-they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death."

74x12 wrote….Yes! God cannot die; so He had to have a body in order to die. (Hebrews 10:5) He prepared a body in the womb of Mary. This body would be the ultimate sacrifice. The Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world.

The Anointed……It is the Son of Man, who offers his life for the sins of the flesh in which he developed. The Son of Eve [The Great androgynous pregnant sinful body of mankind]. It was the Son of Man who filled Jesus with his spirit. It was the Son of Man, who abandoned on the cross his chosen heir and successor in whom he had been duplicated.

It was the Son of Man, who could never die, but who then ceased to be an individual entity by releasing all the righteous spirits, who, after paying the blood price for their inherited sin and any mistakes that may have made while developing within the flesh, and who were separated from the unrighteous dead, were then gathered to the evolving spirit of Enoch within the bosom of Abraham where they entered into a state of rest, whose Graves were then opened and three days later, they, over whom the second death had no power, entered the city and showed themselves as the risen body of Christ.

Christ, the man who was carried to the throne of the Most High in the creation and anointed as his successor and heir to the throne of the Most High in the creation, to serve God before the body of Adam/mankind into all eternity.

From the Book of Jubilees 4: 30; “And He (Adam) lacked seventy years of one thousand years; for one thousand years are as one day in the testimony of the heavens and therefore was it written concerning the tree of knowledge: ‘On the day thou eat thereof ye shall die.’ For this reason, Adam did not complete the years of that first day; for He died during it.”

Enoch remained in the valley of man [The spiritual dimension that co-exists in our seemingly physical world, for three days] before he was revealed in the body that God had prepared for him, the man Jesus, who through a selective breeding program, which was the workings of the Holy Spirit, he was born a compilation of all the righteous spirits that had been gathered to Enoch the chosen cornerstone to the new creation, and was a duplication of who Enoch had become in that point of his ascension to the ends of time

The Great heavenly Simulacrum, which is the sacrifice that God has prepared for us, and the blueprint of the new creation that comes from mankind, is the SON OF MAN who dies in the process of involution in order to be the saviour of we in the process of evolution.

This he does by releasing the spirits on which he had evolved, from the least to the greatest, and the first to be released was the chosen corner-stone, ’Enoch.’

Just as Enoch had been in the bowels of the earth for three days [Three thousand years] so too, Elijah, who is to appear before the Great and Terrible day of the Lord, [See Malachi 4: 5.] has now been in the valley of man for almost three days.

Jesus proved that he who believed in the Lord who spoke through him, even though he died, yet would he live again, Elijah, the prophet of fire, will prove to the world that he who believes on him who spoke through Jesus and lives, will never die, as he quickens the body of he, who he chooses to reveal himself through.

Well I have to leave you for a while, I will return later, God willing and time permitting.

The Anointed…… Hebrews 10: 5; When Christ [The Son of Man] was about to come into the world, he said to God, “You do not want sacrifices or offerings, but a body you have prepared for me, etc”

That Body was the man Jesus, who, through the power and workings of the holy spirit, had been born through a process of selective breeding, as a compilation of all the righteous spirits that had been gathered to the bosom of Abraham, which was a duplication up until that point in time of the evolving chosen corner-stone to the new Temple of God, which is to replace on earth his old temporary tabernacle/tent [The body of Mankind] as the ruler of all creation. The new life form that evolves from mankind, which is to serve God before the body of Adam/mankind into all eternity.

The man Jesus of who it is written in Hebrew 5: 7-10; “In his life on earth Jesus made his prayers and requests with loud cries and tears to God who could save him from death. Because he was humble and devoted, God heard him. But even though he was A son of God, he learned through suffering to be obedient, when he was made perfect (through his obedience) he became the source of eternal salvation to those who obey (The words of the Lord which he put into the mouth of his servant, who he sent to speak in his name.)

After he was made perfect in his obedience to His indwelling ancestral father, who, dwelt behind the veil of the flesh, within the innermost sanctuary of his earthly tent, the man Jesus, our Lord God and saviour, (The Son of Man) made him high priest according to the order of Melchizedek, not that Jesus took upon himself the honour of being high priest, instead, the Lord made him high priest with these words, “You are my Son, Today I have become your Father,” or THIS DAY I have begotten thee.” Hebrews 5:5.

74x12 wrote…….Jesus whole mission was reconciliation. The reconciling of man to God. (Blessed are the peacemakers ...) It was necessary for God to become man in order to return mankind to Himself.

The Anointed…….Knowing from Hebrew 10: 5; that it was Christ, the one who was anointed as the successor to the throne of the Most High in the creation, who came in the body of the man Jesus, you have just admitted that you believe it is He, ‘The Son of Man’ who is our Lord God and saviour

74x12 wrote…… 2 Corinthians 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

The Anointed……. God is all that exist and is in all that exists. Jeremiah 23: 23; “I am a God who is everywhere and not in one place only. No one can hide where I cannot see them. Don’t you know that I am everywhere in heaven and earth.”

74x12 wrote…..God is love. Love is proved through actions more than words. God proves His love through Jesus' death. "greater love than this hath no one, that any one his life may lay down for his friends;"

God is the good and the beautiful Shepherd (Psalm 23) who gives His life for the sheep. He does this because He truly cares for the sheep.

The Anointed…… Psalms 23; A psalm of David. 1 The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

This is a song of David in thanks to the lord for the blessings and protection that he has given to Him. How you can read anything else from this, is beyond me.

74x12 wrote……In Psalm 102:19-21 we find that God looks down from heaven to earth to "hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death;" So it is God Himself that saves us from death and how does He do it? By the resurrection power. By overcoming the grave.

The Anointed …….We must ignore the above which distorts the psalm to make it appear in the present tense, whereas it speaks in the past tense, we must also ignore the erroneous interpretation of those verses.

74x12 wrote……For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary; from heaven did the Lord behold the earth; To hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death; To declare the name of the Lord in Zion, and his praise in Jerusalem; (Psalm 102:19-21)

The Anointed…….. That is much better, this time you have written it in the past tense as it was originally recorded, with no follow up erroneous interpretation.

74x12 wrote……..And we know Jesus is the priest of the order of Melchizedek.

The Anointed…….To be sure that Isaiah 59:16; is not taken out of the context in which is was written, let us continue on to verse 20 where the Lord says to ‘HIS PEOPLE, ’I will come to Jerusalem to defend you and to save all of you, ’THAT TURN FROM YOUR SINS’ etc.

74x12 Wrote…….God is the bridegroom.

(Isaiah 62:5)

The Anointed…….. Here we see another attempt to take a verse out of the context in which it was intended. Isaiah 62 is in reference to the city of Jerusalem, whose new name will be called, ”God is pleased with her.” Like a young man marries a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee: and as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee. [O Jerusalem]

74x12 wrote...….In conclusion the Love nature of God proves that Jesus must be God manifest.

It is Jesus, the anointed heir and successor of he who gave his immortal life for the salvation of the species of man, [Not for every individual human being] who comes to save the children of Israel, who is referred to in Isaiah 63: 1-6; Bozrah in Edom? Who is this so splendidly dressed in red, marching along in power and strength?” It is the Lord powerful to save, coming to announce his victory. “Why is his clothing so red, like that of a man who tramples grapes to make wine?”

The Lord answers, “I have trampled the Nations like grapes and no one came to help me. I trampled them in my anger, and their blood has stained all my clothing. I decided that the time to save my people had come: It was time to punish their enemies. I was amazed when I looked and saw that there was no one to help me. But my anger made me strong, and I won the victory myself. In my anger I trampled whole Nations and shattered them. I poured out their life’s blood on the earth.”
