The Holy Quran : Chapter 74: Al-Muddaththir [4]

[74:31]Over it are nineteen angels.
[74:32]And none but angels have We made wardens of the Fire. And We have not fixed their number except as a trial for those who disbelieve, so that those who have been given the Book may attain to certainty, and those who believe may increase in faith, and those who have been given the Book as well as the believers may not doubt, and that those in whose hearts is disease and the disbelievers may say, ‘What does Allah mean by such an illustration?’ Thus does Allah adjudge astray whom He pleases and guide whom He pleases. And none knows the hosts of thy Lord but He. And this is nothing but a Reminder for man.
[74:33]Nay, by the moon,
[74:34]Andbythe night when it retreats,
[74:35]Andbythe dawn when it shines forth,
[74:36]Verily, it is one of the greatestcalamities.
[74:37]A warning to man,
[74:38]To him among you who wishes to advance or hang back.
[74:39]Every soul is pledged for what it has earned;
[74:40]Except those on the right hand.

We have already seen that many of the narratives in the Qur'an and Hadith have extra-Islamic origins. In this section we shall briefly examine the substantial presence of Jewish historical and mythical material in the Qur'an. Indeed there is so much of it that whole books have been written on the subject and it is striking to find how heavily Muhammad relied on his Jewish contacts for the passages and teachings he ultimately set forth as part of the divine revelation.

Response: Yet the difference is nothing in the Qur'an can be shown to be false, nor is similarity the same as plagiarism. Thus refuting the claim that the Qur'an copied anything.

Please get a better translation of the Quran. To be placed at the right hand is always seen as an honour which in your translation is a curse.
The further the Quran moves from the plagiarized portions from the Bible, the less sense it makes.
The use of the word light, day and night, sun, moon are all plagiarized from Genesis. You should read the bible instead of posting verses from the Quran and asking if they were plagiarized from the Bible. The prophet Mohammad was an illiterate, he could only recite what he heard and his poor memory affected his recitation.

The only deviation from the Bible is the prophet Mohammad's endorsement of child brides. His decision to marry Aisha a 6 year old girl and promising 72 virgins to martyrs in paradise created sanctioned pedophilia. When you see a Muslim kissing a baby, be warned that is not his baby. It is his baby bride.

Westerners cannot understand why older Muslim women are forced to wear Burkhas or full body sacks/covering, but child brides do not have to cover their faces. It is a matter of age/appearance. Muslim women are ashamed they were married when they were much older because the demand is for child brides. So when you see an older Muslim woman all covered up with a much younger girl with only a head scarf. They are not necessarily mother and daughter but competing wives.

Muhammed wasn't illiterate. He wrote the Quran after all.
The prophet Mohammad did not write the Quran. He recited from memory what he could recall of stories he heard as a young boy. The Quran was only written some 20 years after his death by scribes before whom he recited his self proclaimed revelations by Angel Gabriel.

What the scribes wrote or changed the prophet could not verify because he was illiterate and could not read or write. This explains the many errors in the Quran caused by the prophets faulty memory and the attempts by scribes to correct the mistakes. But the scribes were limited because the prophet could not provide them him source other than claiming it was from Gabriel.

The prophet claimed the angel Gabriel spoke to him for 20 years on a daily basis. Odd that it never occurred to the prophet to learn to read and write when he was being treated to divine revelations for over 20 years. But these revelations began when he was 40 years old and too old to learn and by 60 was too senile to care.

Response: Your own failure to show anything false in the Qur'an.
What do you mean by false in the Quran? There are 164 jihad verses in the Quran to deal with infidels and struggling Muslims. Count the number of Muslims killed in the Middle East by Muslims strictly following the Jihad verses. Call it an Islamic revival if you must. But Muslim heads are rolling and turning.

Response: No verse in the Qur'an condones harming a person who has not attacked you, nor can you quote and prove otherwise. While non-Muslim killing and violence by other Non-Muslims occur in the West and as well. Thus your point has no merit.

I have so far quoted following 42 full chapters from Quran in these threads: [Summary]

[75.Al-Qiyamah,76.Al-Dahr,77.Al-Mursalat,78.Al-Naba'79. Al-Nazi`at,80. `Abasa,81. Al-Takwir,82. Al-Infitar, 83. Al-Tatfif,84. Al-Inshiqaq,85. Al-Buruj,86. Al-Tariq,87. Al-A`la,88. Al-Ghashiyah,89. Al-Fajr,90. Al-Balad,91. Al-Shams,92. Al-Lail,93. Al-Duha,94. Al-Inshirah,95. Al-Tin,96. Al-`Alaq,97. Al-Qadr,98. Al-Bayyinah,99. Al-Zilzal,100. Al-`Adiyat,101. Al-Qari`ah,102. Al-Takathur,103. Al-`Asr,104. Al-Humazah,105. Al-Fil,106. Al-Quraish,107. Al-Ma`un,108. Al-Kauthar,109. Al-Kafirun,110. Al-Nasr,111. Al-Lahab,112. Al-Ikhlas,113. Al-Falaq,114. Al-Nas,1. Al-Fatihah. 3.Aal-e-`Imran, 14. Ibrahim.]

Our Jewish (or non-Jewish) friends have not been able to quote or reference places of Torah where verses of these forty two Quranic chapters have been copied/plagiarized/adapted from.

There being 114 Surahs/chapters in Quran. Number-wise this makes more than 1/3 of Quran.
We can therefore conclude with 100% certainty that 0% of verses of these chapters of Quran have been copied/plagiarized/adapted from Torah.

Quran is, therefore, the Word Revealed from G-d and authored by Him and is original.

I don't know or care who wrote what, honestly. The Quran says Muhammad himself wrote, which is moreso what I'm referring to when I assert that he was not illiterate. I have no reason to believe that a merchant who was married into wealth, and who sustained wealth, was willfully illiterate for more than half his life. As you point out, it is an even more ridiculous idea when you factor in the claim that Gabriel, who initially commanded him to read and write, had not taught him to read or write during those 20 years.

Which book was first to talk about hell-fire? Or the first to claim there is one God? Or first to talk about Jesus, or Mary, or Abraham, or Isaac, or Ishmael? Or the first to claim that man was created from earth, or clay? Or the first to claim that there are angels and demons/djinn?

So why are Islamists killing journalists who are there to only report the news? Why are Islamists killing Sunnis in Iraq as well as the Kurds? Count the dead Muslims killed by Muslims. 800 million illiterate Muslims are unable to read. But to have even 1 Muslim who can read deny Muslims are killing Muslims is to deny all mankind.

If you follow the development of the Quran, you will learn the prophet Mohammad does not claim authorship anywhere. It is his scribes that pen their names claiming the prophet recited and dictated his revelations as he came out of his trances in the cave which he frequented to talk to Jinns and Gabriel.
