Understanding "other" people can actually be a good thing, FYI.

Yeah. Interestingly, what we should do about Egypt doesn't seem to be a controversial topic. Yet.

Didn't listen to Sarah's speech yesterday on Reagan's 100th birthday, did ya? Reagan's and Bush's idealism is marching through the Mid East and the stupid want to say it ain't so. Obama can see it and would like to be compared to to Ron and the boys in order to save his legacy. Whatdo you think about that?

We thank you too.

Just kidding!

Hehe

I only thank God I am not american because if I was american I would be in a constant state of barely suppressed anger.

Anyway I am a Briton and if anything my nation annoys the crap out of me..as it does..as much as your nation does almost..but noone British has risen to say we are anything better if not just implicit w***kers in all of this.
But anyway..I am (there is no choice) 'loyal' to the UK and the British/Irish isles as a whole, it's my land and my ancestor's land, so heaven may take my soul but England or Wales will keep my bones.

You're all safe from my landing on US soil for residency... ;)

You'd feel OK here. You get used to it. From our side of the pond, you guys look like you
weren't satisfied wasting just your empire, but now must waste the entire country too.

It's a bit self-defeating to refer to Palin as exemplary of anything.

Republicans can mention Reagan, but they are terrified of Bush and his idealism because they know he's a fascist war criminal. If you want to criticize Obama for something, criticize him for breaking international law not handing over Bush to a designate of the UN to be investigated, charged, convicted, and sentenced for war crimes.

Even now, he can't go to a country that's a signatory of the UN's convention against torture resolution because they will uphold the law. Bush can't even go to Canada for Pete's sake.

Careful what you wish for...you could be....
fighting in wars started by Germany,
eating British food for rations,
getting your orders from disdainful Froggies,
having your money managed by Greeks,
while an Italian woos your wife & a Spaniard steals your Trabant.

I have a good friend who is a British national residing in the U.S. and his wife is American. She said when she first met his dad, he cooked breakfast for them. He heated up some oil in a pan and added bacon and bread to it. Talk about eewww, not to mention early heart attack.

That's silly of him....bacon doesn't need oil.

Germany didnt start WW2...we (UK) did :D

British food doesnt exist we have a multicultural food culture...I myself like Thai Green Curry but I used to like Steak and Kidney pie...luuuurrrrverly organs....but I am a self righteous veggie now.
Taking orders from the French?
I dont fuggin think so...if there is a combined army of Europe then London will be central command...we have already established this with europe and our Island Fortress status makes this logical.
Money bah...dunno about that one.
As for the missus I actually have a Nigerian boyfriend...I doubt many Italian studs will be interested in all 6ft 6 of him.

Then again, the British might learn to cook from the French, etc.

You can walk less than 20 minutes in Cambridge from the town centre and cover a number of food retail outlets that cater for most of the planet...I eat Brazillian and south american food all the time, lotsa black beans, advocado, chilli...

British cooking used to be rather basic and energy/nutrition focused rather than taste/presentation focused..we had an Industrial Revolution and an Empire to feed...unlike the French...lazing around in their moral and social decay....inventing new ways to stuff themselves silly :D

Palin hires chief of staff for PAC

By BECKY BOHRER
The Associated Press
Saturday, February 12, 2011; 1:35 PM

JUNEAU, Alaska -- Sarah Palin has hired longtime political strategist Michael Glassner as chief of staff of her political action committee.

The hire was confirmed to The Associated Press on Saturday morning by Palin aide Rebecca Mansour and Tim Crawford, treasurer of Palin's PAC.

The move is certain to fuel fresh speculation about Palin's possible intent to run for president in 2012. Palin has only said she's considering a run.

Glassner managed the Republican vice presidential campaign in 2008, when Palin was the nominee. He also acted as a senior adviser to former U.S. Sen. Bob Dole.

She may only be getting started.
