If Sarah Palin were ever elected President, I could only assume that it was the result ultra-rich puppet masters making a wager about how stupid they could manipulate the populace into being. The fact that she has any political influence would be funny if it weren't so scary.

First, let me say that I am a Republican.

If I remember correctly, back during the Democratic Primary, Joe Biden seemed to me like the only candidate who even had a clue about the mechanics to get anything done. Everyone else was making blind promises.

Perhaps he garners more credibility solely cuz he's dull & not babe-olicious.

Think of Janet Napolitano, Hillary Clinton, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Bela Abzug, etc.

Seriously, I never understood all the hoopla about her being attractive. She always looked like a somewhat frumpy, regular-looking, middle-aged mom-type to me.

As an aside, I have worked for a couple of women who were model-hot and highly capable. I had no issues working for them because of their looks, and had no problem respecting their abilities.

Then again, maybe I've been gay all these years and didn't know it.
