Some demographics in U.S. society would blindly follow a flailing, **** flinging chimp with down syndrome if it had a bible in one paw and the nation's flag in the other paw.

Chuckles the nutless monkey.

... and they do...

I've said many times that there should be a basic test one should have to take before they are allowed to vote. It would be something a 5th grader could pass.

A good idea, but even intelligent people can sometimes let their sentiments and emotions cloud their judgment. You supported Palin at one time, didn't you? ;)

Only in the sense that every time a Democrat found fault with her, (inexperience for example) this statement could also hold true for Obama. I thought it was sheer genius for McCain to pick her for a running mate.

I did not vote for Obama, so I guess you have me there. I will say this, if something was to happen to the President,(McCain vs Obama) I'm glad Obama won the election because I would rather see Biden as our next President than Sarah.

Answering the original question again... Is Sarah Palin finished?
CPAC - convened and took a straw poll as to who they wanted running for President in 2012. Here are the partial results...

Texas Rep. Ron Paul: 30 percent
Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney: 23 percent
Former New Mexico Gov. Gary Johnson: 6 percent
New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie: 6 percent
Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich: 5 percent
Former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty: 4 percent
Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann: 4 percent
Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels: 4 percent
Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin: 3 percent

Yippee!! The conservatives aren't all brain dead after all. I am thrilled to see Ron Paul at the top of the list and if I have a chance to vote for him I will once again change party affiliation (from LP) to do so. He's not perfect in my book, but the closest thing to it we have to choose from by miles.

And of course I'm very heartened to see Palin coming in at 3% where she should be.
