Do you think Bible is a good source of history? PleaseYour factually false.
Nether are historical as written.
But one thing is factual, no one with credibility uses the koran for any research into the real jesus, because it is FACTUALLY historically worthless here.
How can you think a book written 600 years after his death can be accurate?
Definitely not. The only similarities are that Jesus is the Messiah, was born of Mary by way of a Virgin Birth, performed miracles and will return. Other than that, they're very different figures.
You can find information about the site and it's links to early Islam as an influence prior to prophethood below. the site was only found in the late 90s and academics is slow to release information to the masses. Easily overlooked by many.

I believe it reads like most academic postulations ie fantasy.

PROVIDE CRDIBLE SOURCES
Nope it is factual. Your opinion is irrelevant.
Please quote from "Reliable Historical Sources" where Bible has been mentioned as a reliable source of history. It can be for certain moments in time once one gets past the mythology.
As far as jesus goes It is not accurate because there were no eyewitnesses who wrote anything, but it was written within eyewitnesses lifetime.
Because it is not accurate does not mean we cannot extract some historical moments from the text.
There is valuable history in its pages when examined by historians.
Unlike the koran that is 100% historically worthless for any study of Jesus or Israelite history.
The bible has possibilities. The koran has none what so ever.
, Quran does not claim to be a text book of history. Right?

I never present Quran as a text book of history. Please quote from me if I said so.Then why do you promote it as history when it is historically worthless for any aspect on Jesus the man????

Quran is 100% correct,
Then why do you promote it as history when it is historically worthless for any aspect on Jesus the man????
Does History claim to record all the events happened in the past in the world since inception or just happening now? It does not, and cannot.
So, in relative terms to Revelation, which is 100% correct, the history cannot and must not be trusted. As to purpose of a thing , it (history) has no sources to ascertain and hence is most untrustworthy if a historian wants to tell the purpose.
