If you were really a scientist, blunt, then you wouldn’t object to simple experiments, using simple tools.

What is more basic or simple than a calculator?

A calculator will provide objective solution to a mathematical problem. With something as simple as 10 - (-15), the calculator will give unbiased and unadulterated answer.

If you are dead certain that the answer to SZ’s maths is -5, then prove it using a calculator.

Give me a honest answer as to what the answer the calculator give.

But the answer of 25 is still wrong because by denoting in brackets it is saying work that out separate . So you start at -15 and 10 - -15 = -5 .

I already know. The simple math problem that you cannot understand tells us that you do not understand fields.

Let me explain this to you. Fields tend to consist of vectors. Your inability to do the problem 10 - (-15) tells us that you do not understand what a vector is. If you can't understand vectors you can't understand an item that consists of vectors.

A vector , a direction and magnitude , xyz etc , of course not .

Use the calculator, for your own good, because your "version" of logic is not helping you.

You can leave out the brackets, if you want, but 10 - -15 will still give you 25 on the calculator.

The brackets is only denote the negative number, hence -15.

The calculator will accept with or without the brackets, and will give you 25 every time.

Here is the list of variation of the negative signs being used and not used:

10 + 15 = 25
10 - 15 = -5
-10 + 15 = 5
10 + -15 = -5

10 - -15 = 25 (this is the one you failed, which is the same when written 10 - (-15) = 25)

-10 - -15 = 5
-10 - 15 = -25​

Each of these tests can be done any high school student on the top of their heads, without using a calculator.

They ask: How much is ten minus negative fifteen. When you can't answer correctly, they realize they have just completely wasted a few minutes of their time. They aren't going to waste any more.

hello readers , the people replying in this thread have no interest in science , their only aim is to stop me and bury the thread in useless irrelevant to the thread things .. These people are paid trolls, who attack anybody who attacks science , it is so obvious when their only aim is try to insult . Notice how they always avoid the science .

Science is wrong on loads of things and trying to hide the truth that they make up stuff that is false .
