Islam, how much do you really know about it?

I want Khilafah back
I will not, because we have stamped out all of our competitors. We hunted them, or out-competed them, to extinction.

There's no realistic reason to think that the so-called 'missing link' is still around.

but evolution is a non stop process, so where is the missing link. monkeys need to evolve, but face it it is not true. if you say it is then i won't accet it unless i see the missing link.

You won't notice it any more than you'll ever notice the movements of the stars... that in the next few thousand years, the North Star will no longer be the North Star.

''He who lives in a ruined hut, with all his clothes torn:
Who has neither caste nor lineage, nor respect;
Who wanders in the wilderness.
Who has no relation or kinsmen,
Is yet the king of the whole world,
If his heart is imbued with the love of God.''

-- Guru Arjan Dev

Guru Arjan Dev was known for his great compassion and he always readily served the poor, needy, helpless and sick peoples of all creeds and religions without discrimination .

He was also known for his service to suffering humanity and for the welfare of the lepers and constructed homes for them and touched them with affection even when their close relatives would not touch them and provided them with medicine, dresses and spiritual balm.

All I wish to know is, has Islamic society learned from its great sinful mistakes of the past , that is the brutal torture and killings of sages like Guru Arjan and Guru Teg Bahadur and also the peoples of other religions, apologized for their treatment of these great sages and others and the affronts to their dignity and human rights , and make sure that this will not happen again. :(

look friend i do not wish to be rude or anything but has humanity appologised to the islamic followers for what they have done to us, have you guys learned your lesson and will you not repeat it. yeah right.

first off all i did say that i have no knowledge of that matter, i have never heard it untill now, the previous reply was just to give you some knowldge of why it may have happened and i did say that it is just a perspective of my own. so to go speaking about it will be a waste of time. i may end up saying something dissrespectfull so i think we should leave that matter. if you wish to make other questions then please do so, otherwise i cannot answer this for lack of knowledge reasons.

and Muhammed (saws) was a mercy to human kind, he united people of bloodshed, he helped he needy and he helped the strong, and he helped the weak as well as the ritch. so why did people try to kill him and assasinate him, why did everyone turn his back to him whne he said "i am a prophet of Allah", his uncle turned aggainst him and so did everyone else. if you can answer this for me then you will have answered your own question for your self.

Who says it has?

As I said, come back in 100,000 years, and we'll be completely different.

why come back in 100,000 years, i though evolution was a non stop process, or do the monkeys decide when it is time to evolve. you guys can't keep your stories straight can you, have you noticed that. you say evolution never stops and now you say that i have to come back 100k years from now, i'm not a time traveller so i can't do it. what about the people before us, say those 100,000 years before us, they haven't come back for the missing link, and they should have been here (the missing link) even though the dead cannot come to see it, so where is the missing link for those 100,00 years before us, where their estimates wrong or something.

You're too impatient. Evolution is a constant process... that is VEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRYYYYYYYYYYYYYY slow. That's why within the confines of recorded history there has been no significant change in our physiology as far as we're aware. Just as in a single generation of mankind you won't notice a single change in the position of the continents, yet they move still.

Just because something is constant doesn't make it rapid.

By the way you asked at one point why would God (Allah) make it so complicated for us... that's easy to answer. Because it's not something we were intended to know back in antiquity, but we are now ready. (whether or not we are, there's overwhelming evidence in favor of the theory of evolution)

I guess since you do not understand " the guys" and "the guys" dont understand you there is no sense for questions and answers.

I don't think not understanding one another is limited to one topic. If you said that one or the other had no knowledge that would be a different thing. But not understanding each other is (for me) a fundamental flaw in communication that spreads accross more than just one topic.

I know islam already.
