Don't worry folks, the Messiah will be back from his vacation soon and he will change things just as soon as he is President.

Stop the rocket attacks or be treated as an enemy entity -- with the least innocent being those superficial and ignorant apologists who persist in justifying and otherwise enabling terrorism and terrorists.

The rocket attacks must be stopped. But the civilians in the Gaza strip need humanitarian supplies too.

No buts, no equivocation: the rocket attacks must be stopped.

I agree. I didn't mean to imply there were any conditions that must be satisfied before the atrocity of rocketing civilians must be stopped. I was merely stating my opinion that the people in the Gaza strip must have access to humanitarian supplies. To deprive them of such is also an atrocity.

There is not a single significant military target in Sderot, which has seen nearly daily missile attacks for three YEARS, and I personally know people who have been maimed permanently by the rockets, and the Messianic synagogue there was damaged almost beyond repair TWICE by the rockets, once two years ago, and once two months ago.

I think the difference is Hamas have'nt a clue where their Rockets will land the Israel does and thats why one of Hamas's leaders is no longer with us,anyway i don't see it as funny, sad definately.

That's the different between hand-made rockets and high-tech missiles supplied by the US and carried on by air jets.

And Palestinians should talk; no one ever speaks of the suppression of Israel's Messianic Jews, or the suppression of Modern Orthodox, Conservative, Reform and Reconstruction Judaism there, as well. Maybe if moderate religion were not suppressed by the Conservative Orthodox, Israel might be more moderate.

You want them to speak to whom?

Stop the rocket attacks or be treated as an enemy entity -- with the least innocent being those superficial and ignorant apologists who persist in justifying and otherwise enabling terrorism and terrorists.

Why are they launching the rockets in the first place, you didn't wonder? they were under continuous siege for years. No food, no supplies, no medical care. Why should they stop if Israel insisted on closing all ports and all doors of help???!!!

Not to mention that Israel has violated the cease of fire numerous times during the cease of fire period.

is it so hard with this subject for people to even consider a peace process? its always the same on this type of thread ,whos to blame? you stop firing first --no you.

come on surely everyone knows its time to talk, but how the heck are you going to attain peace while the palestinians have leaders like this man

on Israel:

"We will never recognise Israel," he told Reuters news agency in early 2007. "There is nothing called Israel, neither in reality nor in the imagination."

On Fatah:

he said there would be no dialogue with Fatah, the secular Palestinian movement it ousted, "only the sword and the rifle".

with guys like this in charge the Palestinians have absolutely no chance of peace ---ever.

Nizar Rayyan is now dead, which talking of swords brings to mind he who lives by the sword will die by the sword

If there is no Palestine, there should be no Israel too. Both should have two FREE separate countries.

A ground offensive by Israel is about to start this is something Something i hoped would not happen because this will kill even more innocents and the death toll will be considerable.
The problem for everybody concerned is how can any peace deal with Hamas be achieved when they do not even recognise Israel and just want it destroyed.
With a ground offensive it is easy to see it escalate to a massive conflict which is quite scary, the USA have been very quiet on the whole thing, thoughts anyone,i hope for a swift end to this but i am a realist and see it going on for sometime.

a ground offensive will be catastrophic for the Palestinians, a terrible situation , i never thought i would say it ,but they would be beter if Fatah was in control.
