Israel - Iran Conflict Seems More Likely

Obama said the same thing , but coming from Israel makes it seem just that more threatening.
And let us forget that Iran made the same threat against both Israel and the United States.

It seems like we'd all have to wait until they push the boundaries before we can act without being labelled monsters for jumping the gun.

The middle east is just waiting for another excuse to launch criticism. Its as if thats what makes them tick.

Pro-active measures will draw huge criticism and create more muslim-western animosity for sure.

Given that Israel & the US have also made threats (more direct ones) against Iran, we should discern
how much of what Iran says is due to that, & how much could be due to inherent danger they pose.

and still not a single shred of evidence that Iran has or is making nuclear weapons!!

watching that drama queen Netanyahu yesterday was like watching Bush and Powell and Rice at the UN trying to convince the world of Iraqi WMD's

I doubt any 'sane' people will fall for the US/Israeli lies a second time and launch another disaster they cannot handle

Take excessive religious fervor, add a generous helping of emotion
with a dash of gasoline, & even the normally sane can lose sanity.

You left out a few WMD believers. Bill and Hillary Clinton, Al Gore, Madeline Albright, Nancy Pelosi, just to name a few.

Unless Israel is the hornet's nest, Iran has been doing the poking, and now people are freaking out because Netanyahu is starting to buzz.

Iran alone is poking?

The US even helped Iraq acquire & use WMDs against Iran.

The US & Israel have been openly threatening direct attack for some time, in addition to covert attacks.
It strikes me that Iran has good reason to want nuclear weapons, given the danger we pose to them.

Would anyone? And how does this matter? They, like most of the free world, knew Saddam had and had used WMDs. No leader in their right mind would have denied the potential of WMDs in Iraq.

Is potential a reason to invade a country?

I'm continually amazed that none of our "leaders" put their foot down and say "this isn't our business." I at least appreciate the fact that Obama is dragging his feet when Netanyahu puts pressure on him.

"His demand that President Barack Obama declare "red lines" that would trigger an American attack on Iran's nuclear facilities has been rejected in Washington and sparked a public rift between the two leaders."

I am hoping the complete lack of international support, and weak domestic support, for Netanyahu's war with Iran, will help limit the scale of the bloodshed. Perhaps he will just keep doing the sabotage and assassination, cloak and dagger stuff, and avoid an open assault. That would be so much preferable to what he has in mind.

Well the Israeli president is wrong on the development of the nuclear program of Iran. Also The President of Iran never proposed a offensive war only a retaliation if they got bombed first however we see the Israeli government making these statements over and over so who is the real war-monger here? Not forgetting the Sanctions what are in a way attacks on there sovereignty to begin with.

I hear you. Here's the conversation, as I've been hearing it so far:

Ahmedinejad: "I hate Zionism and Israel sucks."
Netanyahu: "Oh my God! A racist! Everybody! Quick! We have to start a war with Iran right away!"
Ahmedinejad: "If we are attacked, we will fight back!"
Netanyahu: "Oh my god! Did you hear that violent rhetoric? Get the bombs ready, there's no time to lose!!"
