Not necessarily, no. Still not sure why you brought up tribalism.

Because you presumed I am biased against both.

Tribalism - Wikipedia

An exert:

Socially, divisions between groups fosters specialized interactions with others, based on association: altruism (positive interactions with unrelated members), kin-selectivity (positive interactions with related members) and violence (negative interactions).

I don't see much altruism as defined here lately. What I see with tribalist is negative interactions. It's a "If you are not with us you are against us" mentality. Honestly I don't see the difference between racism and tribalism except that racism is based solely on ethnicity. Where as tribalist discriminate based on others education level, social status, income, and/or politics. It's a passive aggressive, socially acceptable bigotry thst goes unchecked.

I'm not assuming anything. I'm using your own logic from back in post 26. But anyhoo...

A. Is he so diagnosed by the relevant professionals in a clinical setting? And if so, does that; B Constitute 25th amendment grounds for removal? Does being an egomaniac breach section 4? And even if it does, will; C.the Vice President and cabinet see fit to implement it?

The 25th Amendment Makes Presidential Disability a Political Question

Trump's 25th Amendment problem is his advancing dementia. I mentioned the golfing thing where it appears that Trump was not immediately apprised of the false alarm in Hawaii. You can decide for yourself why. One possibility is that his handlers didn't trust Trump with the information. If so, that's a pretty compromised presidency and speaks to mental instability.

The argument for dementia is long and compelling. I can make it if there is any interest.

Myself and most liberals I know prefer Trump over Pence.

Not this liberal.

But I do want to see Trump remain president through at least the summer. He's still needed to help with making Congress Democratic again, at which point impeachment proceedings can begin against both of them. I believe that Pence can be tried in criminal court as a sitting vice-president

If there's strong enough evidence to convict him, they probably would have used it by now. Trouble is, they don't really have anything solid enough. They wasted so much time, energy, and political capital investigating "da russkies" and nitpicking over minutiae that they lost their window of opportunity.

Mueller appeared to be close to wrapping things up when he announced that he wanted to interview Trump within the next few weeks. One would assume that that would be the last step of a process in which small fish flipped on medium fish, medium fish on big fish, and finally, big fish on Trump. Mueller appears to have Flynn and Bannon's cooperation. That's got to be pretty damning. Those are the two guys who probably know the most about Trump's shady dealings

But a lot of potential new evidence has come to Mueller's attention lately. Rachael Maddow reported that in Mueller’s latest court filings in the cases against Manafort and Gates that Mueller is claiming possession of 87 electronic devices such as laptops and cell phones (I didn't see it). The number was 36 such devices a month ago.

Also, Trump and Huckabee Sanders just admitted to taping conversations with reporters when they wheeled one such recording out the settle the matter of whether Trump said he probably had a good relationship with Kim Jong Un or that he'd (he would) have one. Oops! If he's taping reporters, he may well be taping everything. It's deja vu and subpoena time again.

So, there still may be a few things left to be investigated before bringing down the hammer. This is a methodical process, and Mueller has been playing it very close to the vest. I believe that he hasn't made a public statement since he began the investigation, and the only things to leak out seem to be coming from him given their strategic nature. Nothing hurting the investigation has been leaked by anybody.

The fact that Mueller was ready to interview Trump probably means that he has enough to indict him, and is giving Trump a chance to obstruct justice yet again by lying in the interview. Mueller probably doesn't need anything from Trump, and if he did, Trump would likely lie anyway.

The case for money laundering is probably very strong as well.

A lot of people hate the Trump-haters more than they hate Trump, and there are good reasons for that.

Irrelevant to anything but polls and elections.

Trump haters? Some people are simply demanding justice and decency.

Also, the man is hurting America's place on the world stage, is playing with nuclear fire, and is enabling bigotry and violence against various types of people, not to mention repulsive and contemptible.

The antipathy for Trump is well deserved and widespread throughout the world.

The way Trump is such an outsider in politics, I would not at all be surprised if the investigation finds everyone but him guilty various crimes and reveals Trump was left in the dark about what was actually going on.

I believe that Trump very well might not have known what Putin was really up to. It could be that Putin installed his compromised puppet without Trump's knowledge or cooperation. Putin

When Mr Trump won the election on November 8, 2016, his wife was allegedly "in tears - and not of joy." Meanwhile, the then President-elect himself "looked as if he had seen a ghost", according to son Don Jr.
(source)

So here's a question yet-to-be-asked: Who do you propose replace the president, as you insist that both Trump and Pence would be "gooooneee"?

The chain of succession probably doesn't apply, as that refers to situations in which multiple people are simultaneously incapacitated or killed. Consider the Nixon experience. Gerald Ford became president because first Agnew was removed, Ford replaced him, and then Nixon resigned.

If Trump and Pence were killed simultaneously in a plane accident, for example, House Speaker Ryan would become president. If Ryan were also in the plane, President pro tempore of the Senate Orrin Hatch would be seated.

Sessions is next in line after that, isn't he?

No. See above.

Sessions looks like he'll be ousted as well.

Do you want me to rub some salve on your smarting little fannies?

Taunt away. I'm pretty sure you're not going to like how all of this turns out.

Nor will Mr. Hannity, who said, "We're supposed to roll out the red carpet for sore loser liberals because their sub-par, crooked, corrupt candidate lost an election?"

This has nothing to do with hard feelings or who lost. It's all who won, how he won, and about justice, patriotism, and decency. If America is ever to be great again, it needs to be good first. It needs to do the right thing before its own people and the eyes of the world.

Impeaching him would be a disaster...for my daily entertainment routine. Unless you can replace him with even greater comedy gold I strictly forbid it, America.

Pence is a far less skilled comedian.
I don't understand the left's love for him.

By what Constitutional mechanism do you think you can impeach Trump and Pence simultaneously?

If the Court thinks there's Constitutional reasons to support it- it could be done. Like an invalid election. The Constitution isn't the secular Bible. It wasn't even written to last as long as it has, per Jefferson.

Oh but it does-----------
Someone suffering from this extreme egocentric focus is an egomaniac. The condition is psychologically abnormal. The term egomania is often used by laypersons in a pejorative fashion to describe an individual who is intolerably self-centred.

Do yourself a favor a go actually read the 25th Amendment again (section 4). The Vice President has to agree. That won’t happen.

I DO hope the Trump haters continue to fantasize like this. It demonstrates that they still don’t get it and are still self deluded. The more posts like this the more Trump succeeds.

He'S NoT CrAzY: Trump Aces Cognitive Test, No Sign Of Impairment, WH Doc Says

President Trump is in excellent health, his White House doctor said Tuesday.

"He has incredible cardiac fitness at this point in his life," said Dr. Ronny Jackson, who conducted the routine physical examination. Jackson said the exam took four hours and included a dozen other medical personnel for a series of tests.

The doctor said Trump's lifelong abstinence of alcohol and tobacco has led to his excellent health. And Jackson also said Trump, 71, simply "has incredibly good genes. It's just the way God made him."

Jackson said Trump asked to take a cognitive exam during the session. The doctor used "The Montreal Cognitive Assessment," which screened for Alzheimer's and dementia, among other illnesses. Trump scored 30 out of 30.

"The cognitive test, it's well-respected. It's a test that's used throughout the United States," he said. "The fact that the president got 30/30 on that exam, there's no indication whatsoever that he has any cognitive issues."

Jackson described Trump as “very sharp” and “very articulate when he speaks to me.”

Reporters in the White House briefing room repeatedly asked about whether Trump showed signed of cognitive impairment or degeneration. At one point when another reporter asked about "rumors of dementia," Jackson dismissed those as "tabloid psychiatry."

MSNBC's Joe Scarborough has repeatedly claimed on air that sources have told him Trump suffers from early-onset dementia. But Jackson said that's just not so. "I have no concerns about his cognitive ability," Jackson said, noting that it was the first time a president has had such testing.

I'm sure the the amateur armchair psychiatrist testimony will clinch Trump's conviction & ouster from office.

The Founding Fathers designed impeachment for someone exactly like Donald Trump

It Is Time To Talk Impeaching Trump

1. to accuse (a public official) before an appropriate tribunal of misconduct in office.

Pathological lying is a form of “misconduct in office” making it an impeachable offence

Dump is a pathological liar and that is NOT what we want as our President.
We, the citizens of this great Nation must act NOW
What say you, fellow Americans-?

Pathological lying (also called pseudologia fantastica and mythomania) is a behavior of habitual or compulsive lying.[1][2] It was first described in the medical literature in 1891 by Anton Delbrueck.[2] Although it is a controversial topic,[2] pathological lying has been defined as "falsification entirely disproportionate to any discernible end in view, may be extensive and very complicated, and may manifest over a period of years or even a lifetime".[1] Individuals may be aware they are lying, or may believe they are telling the truth

Psychotherapy appears to be one of the only methods to treat a person suffering from pathological lying. No research has been performed regarding the use of pharmaceutical medication to treat pathological liars
.............................................

Impeachment is the process by which a legislative body formally levels charges against a high official of government. Impeachment does not necessarily mean removal from office; it is only a formal statement of charges, akin to an indictment in criminal law, and is thus only the first step towards removal. Once an individual is impeached, he or she must then face the possibility of conviction via legislative vote, which then entails the removal of the individual from office.

Presidential Impeachment Process

Presidential Impeachment is a two stage Constitutional process. The full power of Impeachment and the removal of a sitting President resides within Congress. The actual impeachment of a President is the sole power of the House of Representatives. Once a President is impeached, the power of removing the President shifts to the U.S. Senate.

The House of Representatives starts the impeachment process by publicly investigating the charges and holding hearings. If the House of Representatives votes against impeachment the process is over and the President is not Impeached.

If the House of Representatives votes for Impeachment of the President, the process moves forward with the drawing up of the Articles of Impeachment (The official criminal charges for removal from office). The President has now been officially impeached per the United States Constitution. Once the Impeachment process is final, trials are then held in the U.S. Senate to convict or acquit the President of the Articles of Impeachment drawn against him.

*****NOTE: As of November 19, 2017 Articles of Impeachment have been drawn up against Trump

Trump could also be charged with obstruction of justice

b.t.w. 30 days in jail would bring him back down to earth as well

It Is Time To Talk Impeachment

Do you agree--?

He is a racist, sexiest, horrible, nasty person..
whatever legal ammo there is to impeach Trump I am on board.
Donald didn't deserve the seat.. so he should definitely not be allowed to keep it.
