For crying out loud its politics, they lie they cheat they attack and later say it was just politics, shake hands and join in at attacking someone else.....and why the hell I get involved in political stuff when it is ALWAYS favoritism and my guys are better and more honest than you're evil jerk wads....I go news for you,,,,, I've worked around politicians for 30 years......THEY ARE ALL THE SAME!!!!!!

They are not all the same. That's the point. Everyone expects a primary challenger to support the eventual winner. That's typical politics, and it makes sense. They try to win, but in the end the party is more important.

Calling someone Hitler when you're not even in politics is a wholly different thing. It's not "all the same".

Here is what JD Vance said in a text message to his former roommate, eight years ago when Vance was 31, from MSN:

he goes "back and forth between thinking Trump is a cynical a-- hole like Nixon who wouldn’t be that bad (and might even prove useful) or that he’s America’s Hitler."

My gosh, I've thought the same thing, maybe even worse, and I'm a far cry from 31! I'm also a far cry from the Vice Presidential position. Thank God.

It shows he did it cynically to gain power. I'm sure he's offered other explanations. I'd be surprised if he just came out and said "Yeah, I still think Trump sucks and is America's Hitler, but I want to progress my political career, so I'm sucking up to him now". Of course he won't admit that. I just realize that we can look at his actions and make determinations and not go by his excuses.
