I've never suggested it was incumbent upon you to prove my statements. You've said more than once that comparing the US to other countries is invalid for a reason you have yet refused to give. So I hesitate to provide information for a person who doesn't care for that information.
Other (successful) countries have coordinated efforts on the part of their governments to put into place mask and social distancing mandates; mandatory quarantining for 14 days for those who are infected; they coordinate mass testing and contact tracing; they have limits on numbers of people in social gatherings and indoor areas; they have safety precautions that are followed by business owners that involve continually cleaning off equipment, doorknobs, and other things that are touched by many people; they have lockdowns when things get out of control, so that front-line workers and hospitals won't be overwhelmed; they provide financial assistance to their citizens; and on and on.
We actually went into lockdown here for about 3 months here back in March when things were really bad. During that time, bus fares were waived, food delivery fees were waived, curbside pick up became a thing, small business owners were given financial support, we were asked that if we had to go to the grocery store for vital necessities that only one member of the household should go, we were asked to keep to our social interactions to the people within our own households; only essential businesses were kept open and workplace safety restrictions were enacted. These are measures that have been demonstrated to work in keeping infection rates from skyrocketing in communities. Once g infection rates are a little more under control, they start to open things up a bit more, but slowly, all the while keeping track of cases. Basic stuff.
