Did you forget again that the president stopped the policy of separating children from their parents.

Yes, after over 1,000 children were separated. Trump planned (built facilities) for arresting over 200,000

And a buddy of Trump's got the contract to build these facilities

It was not a sham. The mother was being confronted by an Innigration officer. She set the child down and the child cried, No if and buts about it.

Trump's doing (100%)

I'm going to reserve my judgement on that. That photo is not we need to conclude that those camps we're wrong for the children regardless of how true they were. Professional judgement is what we need and I've already mentioned some. I don't care for the politics here.

This is RF.
Winning is everything.
Except on that one thread.
Right. I get it. But I think we have all addressed that we are not in favor of this particular policy. I am having a rough time understanding why this discussion/fight keeps happening.

And let's also suggest all sides do this.
Aye, it does happen across the spectrum.
For every Fox News, there's an Alternet or MSNBC.
So the misleading pic isn't really all that significant.
I based no policy view upon such emotional manipulation,
so this discovery is only momentarily amusing.

Arguing is most vicious when we all agree.
(To shamelessly rejigger the old saying.)

If you are an American citizen and you break the law, you go to jail and you are separated from your children. But people want to give greater rights to non citizens? If you break the law by ebtering the country illegally then you should go to jail and be separated from your children just like an American citizen would be separated from children. Why should non citizens have more rights than citizens?

When parents are incarcerated, their children are typically turned over to family or foster care, not tossed into holding pens.

That's the problem with media that intentionally portrays only one side. So much for journalistic integrity. In today's age, that's pretty much out the window.
Indeed. The media really should be doing more to show the lighter side of concentration camps.

What? Me worry?

This isn't about winning or losing.

Hahahaha....oh, wait, you're serious!

Good point. If there is no family or foster family to take these kids in we should just turn them out on the street.
