No - so I can be enlightened beyond any reasonable doubt that Lauren Southern is somehow an "embarrassing racist" which seems to have become the focal point of this thread.

Have I attacked you personally? I've never even met you.

I can't say for sure but describing the nazi idea of the white ethnostate as "utopian" (on Dave Rubin's show) and making videos about all us whiteys being replaced by immigrants (The Great Replacement which is the nazi White Genocide trope reheated for mass consumption) is enough for me.

Australian ABC News is basically just a glorified public access network that harbours an obviously far left agenda.

It certainly ain't what it used to be; although they've still maintained their embarrassingly poor standard of production values and physically ugly TV presenters due to their subordinate funding and employment of undergraduates. A cousin of mine once worked at the station in Sydney - she said some employees were actually using milk crates as desk chairs.

But anyway - what that article depicts is absolute disgrace; it perfectly exemplifies exactly what had been implied about the Australian public in this thread.

So far, it seems like Southern is absolutely making a meal out of the Australian public publicity wise - even with bunch of levies that have already been laid against her even appearing in public.

Whilst I agree that white privilege is a concern. I don't see how anyone participating in a society is automatically a racist. What are they supposed to do? Live like a monk?
I'm also wary of Lauren Southern and her errr friends. I used to run in alt right circles and I can't see that much difference between them and far lefties anymore. It all seems like oppression olympics on both sides to me.
Meanwhile the rest of us, mixed race or Le gasp even white get on with our lives, getting jobs and I don't know shopping and living and stuff. Crazy I know.

Okay, I read the article. At one point the "reporter" claims Southern is a racist (I guess in reference to her stance on illegal immigrants?). But no evidence is given. It appears that the "reporter" was just parroting something they heard.

To be clear, being opposed to Europe's current immigration policies does NOT equate to being a racist. While I'm sure that some immigration policy critics are racist, not all of them are.

I've listened to Southern speak a few times. I don't hear her being a white nationalist. I hear her defending western secular culture. Sadly, a lot of folks on the extreme left these days equate those two - very different - stances.

I've heard her talk several times also. She probably isn't a white nationalist, it's hard to say. She does a fine job of rebranding it on occasion. This is reheated daily stormer chat:

White Genocide is how you might have heard of it before.

I've also heard her say that the white ethnostate is a utopian idea. My idea of utopia isn't one where people are murdered or forcibly displaced from their homes on the grounds that they aren't white, but I guess that makes me extreme left.
