My own religion
If it didn't always exist, then it came into existance by whatever, it poofed into existence.
It wasn't then it was.
We don't know that. You are both thinking about it assuming that can decide it.

Time had a start a finite amount of time ago. So, no time 'before' and no poofing.
Which is the problem with any speculation of the universe from absolute nothing.
No, to 'come into existence' implies a change *in time*.
If time itself is finite into the past, there was no point at which it "wasn't".
Samething. No time, then time. It poofed

There was no point at which there was no time. So no, it was no 'no time, then time'. It was simply 'time'.
Good, if...
If something didn't exist and then it did exist, and there was no before.... Then it poofed into existence.
Which is the case under the standard BB theory. In other theories, it is not the case. We don't know which is correct, but we can't dismiss the BB model simply based on this reasoning.

No, we just stop claim we know.
Poofed doesn't require change of time or any pre.
We don't know, but we do have some alternatives.
OK, then the problem with poofing is?
You're the one that seems to have a problem with poofing.
It wasn't then it was. It poofed or always existed.
Sorry but you seem to be contradicting yourself about what is physical and continue to repeat the assertion about continua disappearing at the "Quantum smallest scale" which isn't current physics (tested theory).Yes, OK definition of gravity, Like continuous time I consider gravity an attribute of the physical of our universe. Both are not observed at the Quantum smallest scale. By physical I am referring to physical things and objects.
What I said. Continuous space and time appear in current quantum theory. You mean?!?!?
So you keep asserting but you can't point to a current tested theory that backs it up. Quantisation of space and time is currently hypothetical.Continuous time and space, and gravity are a properties of universe at the largest scale, and NOT at the smallest Quantum scale.
We don't know. You are thinking it in your brain and that is all.
