Do you think criticism of Islam = criticism of Muslims?
I'm going through their holy texts and pointing out the bits I find objectionable. Is there something wrong with that?
Yes, since most Middle Easterners are Muslims, criticizing their religion as you have done here is obviously some kind of criticism of them as people.

There is a ton of Biblical Criticism going on the Christian countries and nobody cares. Even Christians do it. It's not a crime. I'm not criticising them as people. I'm looking at their scriptures from a disbelieving third-party point of view and seeing things I find objectionable, then starting a debate about it so that Muslims can respond with their answers. There is nothing wrong with that.
I suppose all the film critics who critiqued Star Wars were offending the Jedi faith.

Pew's 2013 poll of Muslims says that over 70% of the Muslims in Indonesia want Sharia law. Not Secularism, Sharia.

Sorry for the time lapse guys. My dad just had a major go at me for debating with Muslims online because he thinks they are going to come and kill me. I was actually standing up for FearGod and Servant. I'm actually almost in tears and not in the mood for this anymore. Sorry FearGod, might respond to you tomorrow. My dad has just slammed my door and called me braindead for even talking with Muslims. I tried to explain but he wouldn't have it.
Sorry to hear that. It did become a spirited, sometimes emotional debate.

No not monsters. We are all just people with many of the same doubts, hopes, fears and general questions concerning the human condition and our relation to God. And when discussing this among good people with such diverse opinions and upbringings it can get very touchy to say the least.Yes, we're monsters.
But is it not significant that the vast majority are peaceful, & that it's relatively tolerant (by SE Asian standards)?
