Why do people act as if all Muslims have the same beliefs rules and customs? They don't. Each group has it's own rules and customs, some are more lenient, others are strict and conservative. Again, don't lump them in all one group and say "They are all the same." They aren't.

Good God.

The Qur'an prohibits alcohol. Any Muslim who buys, sells or drinks it is not a true Muslim because he is rejecting the Qur'an. End of story.

any Muslim sells or drinks alcohol is not true Muslim lol

Alcohol is sin , so God can forgive the sins , it's not about true or false .

so whatever the sin; its never be eliminate the tag of Islam , except the sin of worship other God than Allah .

So in other words Muslims can drink and smoke all they like just as long as they are monotheists?

Sure.

Is any crime against God given lighter punishments/leniency more than three times according to traditions? How has it been ruled now for well over a thousand years?

it's like disobeying the laws of God .

so it's simple , it's "sin" , so when a Muslim drink or make murder ....he make a sin

Exactly! So why would he sell or drink alcohol for any other reason than not really being a Muslim?

I don't get your question (about three times) ?

if you meant drinker :
in our country (Algeria) don't punish the drinker , but we consider him as sinner

Muslims are not angels , so you find Muslim practice their religion as percentage for exemple 10%50%90

so it's individual practice (not understanding) .

the Muslim when drink knows that he disobeying God , so he follow his desire and then may repent and looking for His mercy .

A true Muslim? According to who? Can you please make sense next time you talk?

That's like saying Catholics insisting Protestants aren't "true" Christians or Reform Jews aren't "true" Jews because they don't believe in eating just kosher food. Let them practice what they wish to practice.

And theft? I suppose that's just forgiveable too?

"[As for] the thief, the male and the female, amputate their hands in recompense for what they committed as a deterrent [punishment] from Allah . And Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise."

Or what about those who are flogged, stoned and beheaded?

That is not merciful. That is punishment and it is not peaceful.

According to the Qur'an.

And the ahadith.

Please stop this nonsense. Seriously.

Most Saudis follow a strict ultra conservative of Islam called Wahhabism. All Wahhabi are Muslims but not all Muslims are Wahhabi. Saudi Arabia is very strict, and the laws I do not like but they are not the majority of Muslims in the world.

That was written over a thousand years ago and most Muslims don't participate in such acts. Why criticize behavior written in a book that most Muslims don't participate in? What do you gain from it, except for starting up things?

Personally this thread is nonsense.

If the majority of "Muslims" in the world did not follow Qur'an and Sunnah would you consider them Muslims?

Any crime considered hudud is given three punishments of varying severity and if the Muslim hasn't truly repented and gone to the straight path then the fourth is what?

That book is the foundation of the Religion. There is no Islam without the Qur'an.
