Marriage is available to all single people regardless of race, gender, creed or otherwise. They all have equal opportunity to marry anyone they choose that is of the opposite sex.

Yes, and Mrs. Loving had the same right everyone else had, the right to marry a person of the same race. And black school children in Arkansas had the same right as every other school child, the right to attend a segregated school.

Marriage, as defined by the Supreme Court is fundamental to our very existence and survival. Homosexual acts and behavior does not coincide with supreme court ruling as homosexual acts and behavior are notfundamental to our very existence and survival.

No, that's not how they defined it. They defined it as a fundamental right. That's the reason it's a fundamental right. Because it's fundamental to our very existence and survival. And so is same-sex marriage, just as fundamental to the existence and survival of gay families. It's not gay sex, it's gay marriage. And yes, gay families are just as important to the health of the nation as straight families. The only thing that would make you think otherwise is prejudice.

Race is not behavioral.

Behavioral discrimination takes place all the time and is not illegal. People who choose to conduct themselves in a certain manner are subject to restrictions legally and socially.

I guess this means there is nothing wrong with opening a store where no one who prays to God may enter .

BullPoop it's not! There are many people in the world that would say it is improper to marry or even date outside of your own race. Hey, you are free to marry anyone you wish as long as they are of the same race. See? It doesn't feel very nice when it's something you are doing that is criticized. It doesn't matter if you fall in love with someone of a different race. Push those feelings aside and marry someone else. Otherwise you are wrong.

(For the record I am not racist. I am just showing how discriminating against same sex marriage is no different than racial discrimination.)

Well, being a Christian is not behavioural... so lets just forbid anyone who prays to God, reads the Bible, goes to the Church, tries to follow the word of God and use to hang out with Bhuddists and black people. Since all of those are behavioural, there is nothing wrong with that appearently .

You are invalid. If you choose to date and/or marry people of a different race it is your choice and therefore it is your behavior. You are free to marry anyone you want as long as they are of your own race... Anything else would be poor inappropriate behavior.

Actually it is (note that I never used the word survival, I said future, there was a reason for that). Think of it this way. Racism has been a issue. A huge issue. It kept us back, and only caused huge suffering. Homosexuals are in a similar situation, people act like jerks to them. Even beat them up or murder them over their sexuality. Same sex marriage is a very important step to take against that.

And besides, I know enough homosexuals that wants to have children to know that this is plain ignorance.

Obviously, the fact that we don't need or even want everyone to do it does not mean it's not important for some people to do it. We need some people to be doctors, but if everyone was a doctor, we'd starve to death.

the answer would be no, as they are not contributing to the survival of the human race

afterall the human race exists purely to keep the GDP going, to Breed and to ensure there is plenty of them pickled pig feet to go around
