That is a baseless libel of Republicans. Republicans are not against the LGBTQ community. Stop lying.
Really? Are you quite sure? Then explain the following!

Nearly 240 anti-LGBTQ bills filed in 2022 so far, most of them targeting trans people
The annual number of anti-LGBTQ bills to have been filed has skyrocketed over the past several years, from 41 in 2018 to 238 in less than three months of this year.

Of course Colorado has laws prohibiting high capacity magazines AND red flag laws. But neither prevented this tragedy. That is more evidence such laws don't work.

Shootings such as this are actually very rare. Yet they do happen. But they are newsworthy because they are exceptional. The fact is far more people have been killed by guns in Europe this year than in the United States.

Take your blinkers off. You might be surprised. Maybe you are not full of such hate, but I am sorry to tell you millions of Republicans really are. And they often justify themselves with self-serving rubbish like: "if they would just stop being like that, then we would stop hating them."

The translation, by the way, is "if you are not just like me you scare me to death and I get to hate and kill you."

Shootings like this are very rare? There have been more than 600 mass murders in the United States this year -- and this year ain't over yet!

Those laws need to be national to have much of an effect. Countries with gun control that works do not have these problems.

Yes, that makes them quite rare given the huge size of the United States. Of course I could point out you conflating mass shootings with mass murders too. Meanwhile, in Europe, over 40,000 people have been killed by guns this year so far.

Try not limiting your research to biased sources. You will be surprised how much of what you "know" is wrong.
And I suppose the reason you don't respond to my post is because you think it's biased too, and therefore you won't bother looking at it?

Try a smidge of intellectual honesty. This year, in the United States, 32 LGBTQ people have been killed, and 344 anti-LGBTQ bills were introduced in state legislatures -- 25 of which passed. This has the effect, you probably won't understand why, of making people think they may be justified in their hatreds.

Go to the 18:00 minute mark of today's Meet the Press -- see for yourself. Or are thy too biased for you, as well?

Isn't there a war in the Ukraine? I seem to remember there being something about it in the news.

Europe? A geopolitical area of 746 million people, many in very undemocratic and unfree countries? Are you trying to make a legitmate comparison -- or wave your magic cape and say "look over there!"?
