Convenience and brand recognition (with this comes childhood indoctrination and nostalgia) kids and teens love to gobble that awful S.

Their food is mediocre slop but consistent.

I can't stomach it and I find their marketing and business practices to be appalling as well. I'm sure every other fast food shop is only slightly less evil but there's something about Mcdrones that really rub me the wrong way.

Every now and then for whatever reason I get a "Big Mac attack"..and its seriously the only thing that will do..Maybe its the "special sauce" I dont know..Even the soggy lettuce is exactly the perfect ingredient.I "want a Big Mac" about 2 or 3 times a year. The rest of the time it sounds repulsive and disgusting and I would rather starve or get drunk than eat one.

Its a love hate relationship I think.I could never get married to the Big Mac he would feel so rejected and confused that ..well.we would have to get a divorce.

Thats why its great its only a cheap fast food hamburger.

Hey what about the "Mac Rib" sandwich?

Those are totally disgusting I wouldnt even eat one ever..But my husband and one of my sons get "totally excited" when they offer those..

Go figure..

Funny you should mention that, because I think their re-branding in recent years has taken away any nostalgia that I might've once had for the place. I have no fond childhood memories of McDonalds grilled chicken or salad.

IMO, a McRib just isn't a McRib without a shamrock shake.

Edit: Googling "Shamrock Shake", I found out that they're now only available in select locations, and there's a fan site dedicated to helping people find them.

The problem is what if the months dont jive?

Do you "imagine" drinking the "Shamrock shake " in October when you can eat a Mac Rib but cant have it with the shake?

While you are drinking the shake or eating the fake barbecue sandwich do you fantasize about how great it woud be if you could have them together?

Or what?

McRib?!
How can you put bones in a sandwich? (sorry -- vegetarian, not familiar with their fare).

How do they stay in business? I know a lot of people eat there because it is a household name and all, but is that all that's keeping them going? Am I alone in thinking they are really the worst tasting fast food in the world? Heck, you are lucky if they can even get the condiments and the slice of cheese centered on the sandwich. Let's take it to a poll!

i LOVE mcdonalds, compared to ay burger king, they are the masters of fastfood.

perhaps you gone to the wrong places? it really depends on place as well as country, it says you are from new mexico so this means united states which has one of the lowest quality of foods in the WORLD.

no insult intended, but if you would go to other nations you would notice it is much higher quality, perhaps this is the issue? you been eating in regular americans mcdonalds and therefore you think it is the same all over the world? most of the worst food experienced i have had has been in america, disgusting and filthy, it seems there is no regulation in america as in europe or other areas of the world.

but it could also be subjective, you just dont like that type of food.

What FH said.

The meat in a McRib isn't so much a "rib" as it is some sort of mechanically separated pork that's been pressed into a shape to mimic ribs... if you don't look at it too closely. It has bumps that are supposed to evoke the bones of a rack of ribs, but the "bones" are pressed meat just like the rest of it.

If I can't get my Shamrock Shake, then I get the Shamrock shakes. :D

Actually, I don't think I've had one since I was 12. I'm pretty sure that the last time I had a Shamrock Shake and a McRib together, the McRib came in a styrofoam clamshell.

Lol, and no wounder. It's change, just about a month ago we got a new type of Grilled chicken and it cooks differentially then before.

Yeah... I kinda remember at some point in the mid-80s, they had McRibs year round here, or at least they had them for the better part of a year.

Any one else remember when McDonald's not only offered pizza, but delivered them?

Oh My Dear Goodness Gracious that was a hugely terrible idea.
