Speaking of...how could one even drink McDonald's coffee after trying an Iced Cap at Tim Hortons?

!!! I had an iced cap from Tim Hortons!! :D When I was in Toronto! The teacher I was working with bought me one on my last day in the classroom. It was very delicious. I still like McDonalds Frapes though. And their hot mochas. They are cheaper than Starbucks. I'm not rich, you know.

I don't care what you say.....all this talk of McDonald's has me so hungry right now......:drool:

Aw man....here in Va. the snow/ice is melting and it's starting to get warm outside. I can't wait to fire up my grill and throw some burgers on it.

I apologize if my statement is offensive to my vegans or vegetarians. I haven't made that step in my life so I remain a carnivore....:sorry1:

I always enjoy taking the wife and kids to McDonald's every Tuesday. We always dine in, so that we can enjoy the ambiance. My wife likes to take a couple of candles, which we place on the table and light. My daughter brings a tablecloth and my son sets up his I-pod with speakers. We usually put on a little Dean Martin and set the volume just loud enough to drown out the screaming kids in the McPlay area.

I'm pretty consistent, since I always order the McFilet McMignon. The little woman really enjoys the fresh McGarden McSalad and the kids are grateful for the quality food, regardless of what they order (although Sweetpea really likes the Mclobster). At the end of the meal, I leave a nice gratuity and we head back to the house for a quiet evening of playing McScrabble as a family at the kitchen table.

Oh yeah - good times.

Every now and then, you might get a burger right off the grill and the bun delivery guy might have just left and the employees did not rotate the buns. Then and only then, a big mac could taste good.

My biggest complaint, they use way way way, (did I say way?) too much salt.

I do go there for breakfast sometimes. Other than that, I try to pass Mickey D's by.

And then someday, McCoronary disease will set in, and a McDoctor will have to perform a McTriple Bypass on my McArtery.

Hey leave Dean Martin out of this! He was way too classy for McDonald's!

Haaa ha...funny. You know, in my area they have renovated all the McDonald's. They have more low lighting and earth tone colors now.

They used to look like this;

Now they look like this;

Since McDonalds main business is real estate, it makes its profits from capital gain. Hamburgers are a side line to pay the rates so the cheaper the better. You get what you pay for.

Whilst I don't particularly like McDonalds, It has saved my life as a food source, cheap enough to afford as a backpacker in foreign countries.

Cheers
