Uhhh, while I certainly would never presume to speak for anyone else, I have to say that I interpreted the post by Pagan Buddhist to be comical, downright farsical, as a matter of fact.
It seemed to be making sly, subtle mockery of those dismissive souls who refuse to take a stance on certain questions of moral consequence, insisting we each and every one lack the appropriate moral positioning and authority to tell another what is right and wrong for themselves.
For example, as a response to the question of whether it is good or bad to kill babies, a similarly farsical response might be, "I'm in no position to tell people whether it is right or wrong to kill babies. People are free to do whatever they want." A bit absurd, right? As I think just about any rational person would recognize we can't extend to each other, whether by compact or constitution, the personal liberty of going around killing babies.
Ehh, maybe I am reading too much into it. And if the issue is ever put to a vote, since I am no longer a baby, at least by the standard definition, I will demand my right to kill 'em if others are granted the same. I want my equal rights to kill babies!! Liberty or Death!!
