We just watched 'Bell,Book and Candle" , I think from 68 , with James Stewart and Jack Lemmon. Really good movie. Progressive potrayal of witches for the 60s, we thought.

I am doing a search for this movie right now, it sounds very interesting.

UPDATE-01:54am
Okay, I just watched a trailer, I'm in.

I watched that Christmas weekend for the first time. Not a bad flick at all. It's my understanding that it was the inspiration for "Bewitched."

I am not much of a movie buff; I even only know of one or two actor's names...

But I have recently seen stigmata, and the Da Vinci code.......and I have been given (for Christmas) the collection of 4 Harry Potter films to watch.......................

Would the Roman Catholic church diconnect.........err, I meant excomunicate me for that ?? (no disrespect intended)

THE BEATLES ANTHOLOGY Parts 7&8 (disc 4)
DVD/ Color/ 180 Mins./ NR/ 1995
The final psychedelic years with break-up of the band and the reasons for it.

I will probably see these two parts again with mrscardero tomorrow. She seems to be keeping up the interest in the Fab Four as well as learning a very important history on a very influential band.

I saw the new Charlotte's Web movie. It was pretty good, though I do prefer the book, and the cartoon version of the movie.

Casino Royale

loved it - way better than the recent Brosnan films (and I was a fan of those too).

Ooh, I forgot I watched Jane Eyre the other day. A semi-recent version, with William Hurt as Mr. Rochester. Compared to the other Jane Eyre versions I've seen, I liked it the best---though, no movie version will ever do true justice to the book, which is one of my all-time favorites in classic literature.

Abbott & Costello Lost In Alaska
DVD/ B&W/ 93 Mins./ NR/ 1949
Sled dogs, gold mines, hi-jinks, romance and classic Bud & Lou routines abound in the frozen tundra where Abbott & Costello look after a for-lorn lover in search for his woman while his woman is just interested in his “prospects”.
