From what I took away after watching Borat, he was trying to expose Americans' prejudice and inability to cope with different cultures.

This past month I've seen Casino Royal and 300. Both were great films, but for completely different reasons.

I sort of get that but I would have got it more if he wasn't being such an idiot about it and acting normaly which I asume they do in Kazakhstan,

Me just recently treated myself to the complete Basil Rathbone Sherlock Holmes collection of films form the 1940's...all nicely digitally remastered.

Though , for me , the best Sherlock was Jeremy Brett, I thoroughly enjoyed watching these.

There's something about the old black and white films which just make ewe wanna get comfy and relax.

F**K. (a.k.a. The "F" Word.) - A great documentary about the word "****." Is was interesting to find out some guy from U2 got fined for saying it, yet it was ruled ok to have the word aired on the movie Saving Private Ryan.

Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Dead Talk Back
DVD/ B&W/ 92 Mins./ NR/ 1994
Sit back, relax and enjoy another B-grade movie aboard the infamous Satellite of Love, with hosts Joel Hodgson, Mike Nelson and their robotic viewing companions Crow and Tom Servo providing the acerbic quips and commentary. In The Dead Talk Back (a film shot in 1957 that was finally edited in 1993), a mysterious radio that talks with the dearly departed helps a plucky psychic researcher solve a murder case.

We just rented Will Farrell's "Stranger Than Fiction," but haven't watched it yet. Maybe tonight.
That's a great movie, too. Pay special attention when they're in the kitchen with the cookies. The box will in one shot be on the table, and in the next off.

I just back from Ghost Rider. Great movie, great effects, really good cast. The only problem I had with it was the voiceovers for the rider. Has anyone else seen it?

Yeah, I thought the live actors got in the way of the Rider. Nicholas was difficult to believe in the role of Johnny Blaze (should have been played by a teenager). Raquel Alessi was useless except to fill out form fitting outfits. Peter Fonda phoned in his performance and the film could have had more intimidating villians and invloving conflicts. The battles were too short.

Infernal Affairs

A veteran cop, Chan Wing Yan (Tony Leung), is given an enormous task: to go undercover within his own department and finger the detective who's been deceiving everyone and leaking information to the criminal underworld. But the mole (Andy Lau), whose identity Chan doesn't know, also has no idea who the internal investigator is, and the two soon embark on a dangerous and perilous game of cat and mouse.

I hated the film, as I said Nicholas would be believable as a 'unbreakable' type hero where it's more subtle and not as full on.
It's a real shame as I have been really looking forward to this film and it sucked on so many levels!
Even Daredevil wasn't this bad!

Ghost Rider is a Marvel icon and though I thought the computer graphics depicting the Rider were well realized the story surrounding it was marred. I will agree that it was worst than Daredevil but I might have have to admit, it wasn’t as bad as critics made it out to be. The biggest gripe I had with it was when I discovered that they would be casting Nicholas Cage for the role of Johnny Blaze. Panned over for the Superman role (most likely because of his looks and age) it seemed that he was destined to worm his way into some super-hero role one way or another. I could only envision agents dialing the phones to secure Cage’s role and script writers rewriting screenplays to accommodate him.

On a different note I can't wait to see Nicholas in 'Next'!
Now that looks awsome and is the kind of subtle hero that he can pull off me thinks!
