Quran 24:2
"The woman and the man guilty of adultery or fornication,- flog each of them with a hundred stripes: Let not compassion move you in their case, in a matter prescribed by Allah, if ye believe in Allah and the Last Day: and let a party of the Believers witness their punishment."
There, I know Muslims love avoiding tricky issues because honesty is not exactly a virtue when defending a religion

I love how they profess their deen/religion teaches morality yet when it comes to religious matter all of that talk goes right out the window.

He is now 98 years old (or so)... so that is not an option. He has written dozens of very high quality books though and that should more than suffice for the average human animal.

Arabia at the Time of the Prophet's Birth
From the moral point of view the Arabs were a
contradictory people. They suffered from some extreme
moral defects but at the same time they possessed some
admirable qualities. They were given to excessive
drinking. To become drunk and to run wild under the
effect of drink was for them a virtue, not a vice. Their
conception of a gentleman was one who should entertain
his friends and neighbours to drinking bouts. Every rich
man would hold a drinking party at least five times a
day. Gambling was their national sport. But they had
made of it a fine art. They did not gamble in order to
become rich. Winners were expected to entertain their
friends. In times of war, funds were collected through
gambling. Even today we have the institution of prize bonds
to raise money for war. The institution has been
resuscitated in our time by the people of Europe and
America. But they should remember that in this they
only imitate the Arabs. When war came, Arabian tribes
would hold a gambling party. Whoever won had to bear
the greater part of the expenses of the war.

I give here the above verse with the verses in the context:
The Holy Quran : Chapter 24: Al-Nur
[24:1] In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.
[24:2] This is a Surah which We have revealed and which We have made obligatory; and We have revealed therein clear Signs, that you may take heed.
[24:3] The adulteress and the adulterer (or the fornicatress and the fornicator) flog each one of them with a hundred stripes. And let not pity for the twain take hold of you inexecuting the judgment of Allah, if you believe in Allah and the Last Day. And let a party of the believers witness their punishment.
[24:4] The adulterer (or fornicator) shall not marry but an adulteress (or fornicatress) or an idolatrous woman, and an adulteress (or fornicatress) shall not marry but an adulterer (or fornicator) or an idolatrous man. That indeed is forbidden to the believers.
[24:5] And those who calumniate chaste women but bring not four witnesses flog them with eighty stripes, and never admit their evidence thereafter, and it is they that are the transgressors,
[24:6] Except those who repent thereafter and make amends, for truly Allah is Most Forgiving, Merciful.
[24:7] And as for those who calumniate their wives, and have not witnesses except themselves the evidence of any one of such people shall suffice if he bears witness four times in the name of Allah saying that he is surely of those who speak the truth.
[24:8] And his fifth oath shall be to say that Allahs curse be upon him if he be of the liars.
[24:9] But it shall avert the punishment from her if she bears witness four times in the name of Allah saying that he is of the liars.
[24:10] And her fifth oath shall be to say that the wrath of Allah be upon her if he speaks the truth.

You seriously need to visit pro Islamic sites and see how they try justifying the actions of the Taliban, I already know Muslims trying to make ISIS look like saints.

You do realize that Muslim constant bleating about this simply makes many of us non-Muslims look more closely at what he supposedly did. Given that we have ONLY the written accounts of his fanatical followers, his companions, and what they chose to tell us, makes for very interesting reading.
