No, recommended is totally different than required.

Uniforms can be required at the workplace. That means you must wear it.

Godo, I think that about 500 million Muslims think Sharia is a good idea. As I understand Sharia, that means that 500 million Muslims think:

- apostasy is a crime, maybe worthy of the death penaly.
- women are second-class citizens, with weak minds.
- free speech should be restricted so that Islam cannot be criticized.
- Jews and gays should be persecuted.

To me, that's not just a few terrorists - that's a lot of people holding very damaging beliefs. What do you think?
