My guess is that there are a couple of different aspects at play.
There'll be considered action, which may very well be as much about prompting am Israeli reaction as anything.
Then there'll be a bunch of angry young men with their hands on weapons, launching them at those they perceive to be their enemy.
(pretty much the group you're referring to there)

Yes I forgot to mention that the Koran puts them up to it-

I don't think the crusades, inquisition, plus even the conquests killed millions. You would have to throw WW1 and WW2 on the Christian doorstep to get millions.

There is no effort, and many muslims like you refuse credible education and knowledge in favor of mythology and lies.
Great question! The students (and the local authorities), to be willing. And a lot of modern education could seem blasphemous to conservative Muslims. For example, it turns out that you really CAN mix salt water and fresh water.

80 years war is around the death count of WW1. Honestly it is hard to get any reliable number of deaths during wars in the past. There is a lot of collateral damage that can only be speculation

It is easy to lay wrongs at the feet of Christians. It is very hard to lay them at the feet of Christianity as a doctrine. How do you blame a book for Murder which makes the most famous statement about not murdering in human history? You even have to be careful with Islamic killing but with hundreds of verses demanding it, it is not as complicated. My intention was to point out the problems with crediting acts against a code to the code. Sure Christians have killed way to many people but it was almost never about Christianity. God was just an excuse to apply credibility to things that may not have had any. Even struggles like the hundred years war had protestants and Catholics on each side and was mainly about aristocratic property claims. It's a tricky thing.

The war was a series of wars which at times was due to Christianity fracturing away from the old Catholic dominated system backed by political divides over this conflict. Now lets grant for argument sake neither Islam nor Christianity promotes this type of wide scale conflict. Both religions and it's followers claim this position and argue for it. The real issue I believe is the political authority which was once invested into the religion. Christianity has largely confined the political power to the individual rather than the institution. However I believe in Islam it is still rooted in politics as part of the institution. Both have been used to promote violence due to human nature of accepting authority over important matters. It is the political nature of Islam many need to reform but are unwilling to do so.
