Nobody wants me

Forgive me, but, have you tried a dating website for asexuals? Assuming such a thing exists.
Just because I do not care 'enough' about sex, or should I say I don't care as much about sex as most men do, that does not mean I am an asexual. Moreover, if I was 'in love' with a man, I might very well care about sex.

Nonsense. Weird is more interesting than normal. :D

That's what I think, too, but apparently, I cross some lines...

When my husband went to meet my Grandmother(who I get along with well, and is one of my favorite people) to announce our upcoming marriage, she about spit out her drink and said "Her? Are you sure? She's really weird!"

That one stung a bit, simply from who it came from.

Also had a friend who was an ex traveler, meaning he went around the country on a big bus full of hippies, panhandling to make ends meet. He ran into some pretty colorful characters. He also told me that I'm the weirdest person he's ever met.

So, I do think I'd struggle to meet another who could keep up with my eccentricities.

What kind of a sex drive are you hoping for coming from a potential partner?

You'd be fine. Maybe just a little less finger pulling?

Surprisingly, the finger pulling is never a problem(at least not with the type I tended to be interested in). Although if I am totally honest, I tend to be more of a burper than a farter.

Unless cheap ice cream gets brought into the equation... Best to pay that extra dollar or two and get quality stuff, for the sake of the environment....

I think the trouble is more in tastes, sense of humor, and the way my brain works.

I would prefer that he had a low sex drive, since I don't know how I am going to feel about having sex.
I cannot see myself ever having sex as a priority in a relationship again, so there would be no advantage to me if he had a high sex drive.

I am writing to let you know that I am quite sure that this is not an issue with you.

Dating sites and apps are well-known for fostering hookup culture, even the ones that are ostensibly meant to provide a reprieve from this. It's a common issue for admins of almost any site to prevent this sort of culture from developing among its users, but the issue is compounded due to the nature of these services.

This is also something of a self-fulfilling prophecy. The more that dating sites and apps gain a reputation for hookup culture, the more attractive they are to those seeking hookups and the less attractive they are to those looking for deeper and more emotionally fulfilling long-term relationships.

20 years ago, the situation was quite different, but over time these factors have produced a dramatic change in the way these sites operate. I think you're merely "barking up the wrong tree" as the saying goes. You would be far from the first person to have this issue and you are unlikely to be the last.

No men want me
I know this feeling. Its mostly impression though, so don't think much about it. Some men love cats. Some don't. Some change their minds about it. There are shots for cat allergies. There are systems that clean up all of the dander and fluff and suck it out of the air and neutralize it.

Maybe a simple dating service isn't enough. What about hiring a PR student who is in college and getting them to promote you?

I should not say that 'nobody wants me' because there is one man who might want me, but there are problems with him moving to where I live, and I cannot go to where he lives. Isn't it always something? :(
But stay tuned, I might be able to at least get him to come here and see what it's like. It is better than where he is now, I know that.

If one does that, my advice is you would both have to move. I have experienced that situation, when one has to move, it needs to be a joint effort. :praying::praying::handok:
