nah its not aussie ya drongo
I guess I'm the drongo cause I assume people understand what I'm talking about. Bad assumption.
I live in Oztralia, the great southern land, we are a pretty backwater in the to and throw of world news perception. Many europeans think we are Austrians but we are not. But we are loaded as far as the earths riches are concerned, yet our public have been convinced by capitalistic authorities that we are only what we earn. 20 million people sitting on $1000 trillion worth of mineral assets indicates to me that each Ozzie is worth about $50,000,000. A few beyond our shores get most of this, and the rest are told we should be grateful. A new government may address this inequality.
Having addressed this situation, I do love this nation as the best of the best, no other country compares. We are very lucky here. We have our faults but every where else is worse off. We are the best of the worst.
We are a multicultural society which actually enhances and contradicts the Australian ethic. We are not British or Irish or Greek or Italian or Chinese or Vietnamese, but we were once aboriginal. The native population was often dismissed as a nomdic primatives, but closer examination makes one marvel at their complexity, ingenuity, appreciation of the land and how to survive well beyond the precepts of "civilsed" european man. Europeans brought sheep and goats cloven hoofed ******* foriegn crap grazing animals, that have denuded the landscape and given us famine and errosion. One must respect the aborigines who rely on the three toed marsupial herbivore kangaroo as the staple of their diet. No erosion a, disease free, and drought resistant. Advanced civilized people can be so stupid at times. Slaughter all your sheep and goats then farm kangaroos, they are far more environmentally friendly a fat free excellent protien source, and taste heaps better, low cholesterol too..
In respect for Banjo Patterson (An Australian Poet) and the Aboriginal nations of my continent I offer the world a new perceptive through the eyes of "Tiapan" an Oztralian, incorporating, out of respect, the current language of our native people hence terms like Brudda = brother Lubra = wife, Rainbow Serpent = creation myth, etc etc all pidgin english versions of cross cultural perspective in language.
Language is the thing that sets us partially above the animals, ie not having to re-invent the wheel because we have the capability to look at previous peoples mistakes, and the opportunity to take advantage of their experience and by pass the problem.
The word "terran" means "of the planet earth" eg "Terra Firma" and does not necessarily imply human, as animals are also manifestations of the true life form DNA.
