Not a Terrorist Insurrection

VoidCat

Use any and all pronouns including neo and it/it's
It's not national born but naturalized citizens. He may have been born in Canada, but his parents where there on business and not as permanent residents. So Cruz is indeed eligible.
One correction:
A naturalized citizen is a person who was born an alien, but has lawfully become a citizen of the United States under the U.S. Constitution and laws.

A naturalized citizen has all the rights of a natural born citizen, except is not eligible as president or vice-president of the United States.
from:
Naturalized Citizen Law and Legal Definition | USLegal, Inc.

but I do believe that means he was born a US citizen and not a naturalized citizen if what you say is correct
EDIT: which makes him a Natural born citizen. I did write the wrong word earlier

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
Rest assured, most anybody watching footage of what happened last year at the Capitol, would realize some Capitol Hill police were being beaten, crushed, dragged or shoved around by a mob of angry attackers who were trying to disrupt Congress from certifying the 2020 U.S. President Election results. Ergo, the Capitol Hill riot on 1/6/21 should be consider as having been a violent terrorist attack. Right?

Please note the terrified look on this Capitol Hill police officer's face as he is getting crushed by the weight of angry rioters. Is this not irrefutable photographic evidence of the violent terrorist attack against Capitol Hill by where Congress had been certifying the 2020 U.S. Presidential election results on 1/6/21

It's not a terrorist attack.

It's regarded as low level conflict/warfare for which police are trained to deal with. I also was trained for riot response when I was in the military.

Good lord get real.

I begin to suspect that you find politicians untrustworthy.
The only vote I cast for a politician I felt would do any good was for Rupert, the guy from Survivor who ran for governor of Indiana. But he used his celebrity status for community outreach and activism, and what damned him most of all was he ran as a Libertarian. Unfortunately Pence won that election.

Libertarians....the biggest losers in politics.

BS.

Its not a terrorist attack.

Insurrection is more appropriate as I see it. This country has issues and Democrats definitely played a part in causing this to happen.

When someone is pushed too hard expect someone to push back.ou

I don't like what happened , but to a degree I see why it occurred.
What do you see as "pushed too hard"?

I'd call it a protest/riot, with a lot of undercover Feds acting as agents provocateurs. Not too different from many of the BLM riots, actually, except less destructive (lots of weird out of place people there acting suspiciously, too) and the only people who died were rioters.

All you need is love.
You don't say, however, whether you think that is a good thing or a bad thing. Would you care to clarify?

It's definitely a bad thing, IMO. In fact, I left the Republican Party and registered as a Democrat because of it. I voted for Biden in the 2020 presidential election, and he's the first Democratic candidate that I've ever voted for in any election since I registered to vote as a Republican in 1992. He won't be the last Democrat I vote for, either, as long as Trump has control of the Republican Party. I'll vote Democratic in the upcoming midterms and in the 2024 presidential election, as long as Trump controls the Republican Party.
