Now they're going after Morgan Freeman.

Jesus f****** Christ!

The man is in his 80s this bull**** has got to stop. If a woman feels sexually harassed and abused I'm of the opinion to accuse or lose once past the statute of limitations.

I'm really looking at this as the start of a cheap money grab at someone who is nothing like Bill Cosby.

Morgan Freeman accused of inappropriate behavior, harassment - CNN
I wholeheartedly disagree. You are forgetting the FACT that it wasn't accepted for women to come forward in the entertainment industry until pretty recently. Back in the 90s and early 2000s, women would lose their livelihoods for speaking up about abuse. Now they don't have to take it. The men who perpetrated these crimes should be held accountable, even if it is just public shaming. Imagine if your sister was raped by one of these fools, but was too scared (for good reason) to come forward, as no one would have done anything and she would have lost her future? I'm pretty sure you would be singing a different tune.

You think people shouldn't be held accountable for their past actions once they're past a certain age?
I think if a woman feels that way they shouldn't wait so long. Yeah there's fear and nervousness involved but if it's that serious you would think somebody would report it almost immediately or at least a short time thereafter.

You just watch where this is going to lead.
It's going to lead to a lot of horrible human beings being held accountable for their atrocious behavior. It's awesome. Rape was happening way too much in the entertainment industry for far too long. Now, that is changing and a lot of pain is going to be the result. But, the important thing is these guys won't get away with taking advantage of women anymore. How can you be against that?

They should not, and I think you will see, they no longer do.

All that tells me is there was prioritization that their livelihood is better than reporting sexual harassment. You would think sexual harassment would trump careers if it affected them that much.

No, you have it all wrong. It wasn't a choice of getting justice or keeping your career. It was a choice of coming forward, having no one care or believe you, and losing your career OR keeping your career and suffering in silence. No one would have cared back then anyways. That has changed recently, which is why women are starting to stick up for themselves. I love it. Any man who uses his position to take advantage of any woman should be severely kicked in the nuts, so hard that he won't ever even want to do it again.

Why would they do that if no one would have believed them or done anything about it anyways? The abusers were in charge before. Now they aren't.

Wasn't Morgan Freeman part of a group forming a committee to investigate Russia? I hadn't heard much more about that, but now we have this scandal.

Do you know the time frame of the accusations regarding Morgan Freeman, or are you just ***-pulling once again?

Actually I'm not.

But......

But if women wait and wait, they're going to come across as being opportunist and not looking for vindication or Justice as their focus have they acted sooner.

Is one of the woman now going to make a rap song like one did for Bill Cosby?
