In my country fertility options are explored with doctors before the child goes through HRT for both genders.
Much more equitable and human rights based approach than restricting the care.

I think I understand this, but I'm not sure, can you elaborate?

Gender dysphoria is a real condition, that the distress caused by gender dysphoria is psychological distress does not make the condition 'imaginary'. This is an ignorant position.
So you are saying that gender dysphoria is about more than what is going on inside of your head? What else is it?

What perfectly functional body parts are removed in children with epilepsy, ADHD, and autism?
Where has your outrage been over surgeries that do needlessly remove tissue, like arthroscopes? Research doesn't even really support them being performed like they are.

What perfectly functional body parts are removed in children with gender dysphoria?

We are talking about medicinal treatment (puberty blockers) as long as they are children.

Everything is "all in your head" because the brain has to receive and process stimuli.
I disagree because if your brain shut down, the cancer would remain because cancer is not just in your head.
But with GD we can see it actually does produce brain that looks more like the identified sex than the birth sex.
Not everyone with GD has brains that looks more like the opposite sex, and not everybody with brains that look like the opposite sex suffer from GD; otherwise a simple brain scan would determine GD or not.

The article answered at least half of your question.
I haven't mentioned regret or detransitioning, and since it's the style of the apologists here to not read links provided to them I see no reason why I should look past the title of the article. That said, I did read jay's article because jay is more thoughtful than the lot of you put together.

What do you think that this post of yours implied:

". GD kids growing out of GD is common, spontaneous remission is quite rare."
