OK. Heres the IQ thread. Drum Roll for Donald Trump...

OK, at this point 2 other videos should be witnessed by people on both sides of this arguement. The first is serious and addresses Hillary's "war hawkishness". It is her speech in the senate given as she voted to let Bush Jr. run his war. It is 10 minutes long, and though informative, most could skip the first 5 minutes. It does NOT absolve her, obviously.
The second is a lighter piece presenting Trump's lies, flip-flops, and hypocrisy.
Because as we all get an earful, many are voting for Trump over Hillary based on these 2 main points.....both of which are largley debunked when we make ourselves informed.
PS - I think my opinion of her Iraq war vote is summed up well with this piece.

I think that IQ is meaningless and shouldn't be brought up in public at all.
I'm watching the live streaming of his speech to the Homebuilders right now. I don't find where he said that. Please post the link, and the time.
What I heard was him talking about our actions in Iraq being so bad, and the history of Iraq and Iran fighting each other, where Iran is now much stronger because of our actions in Iraq, among other things. I could find no comparison to the U.S. military in his comments just now, so I'd like to see the specifics of what you're talking about.

He just said it about 20 minutes ago, around the time I made that post. At the NAHB meeting.

Even if that mattered, she looks at least as bad as he does.
Given a choice, which would you vote for....
1) An honest candidate with an agenda you oppose.
2) A dishonest candidate with an agenda you favor.

He was talking about what our leadership has done by creating a situation where we have no power in Iraq, and have simply destabilized it, through various actions leaving Iran much stronger and in a better position. He was in no way disparaging our military -- at all.

Right. What I was disputing was your contention he was bashing the military. I don't think he was. I think he was bashing the Administration, and bad decisions made by it.
Fair point. I would rather vote for someone who lies about giving me a cookie over someone who tells the truth about giving me a kick in the balls.
But what about the Trump agenda do you like?
Platform vs. Platform
- A willingness to negotiate with international foes in preference to war.
- Lower taxes (although I'd prefer a different structure from his).
- The potential for a better business & economic climate.
- Preserving gun rights.
- Less crony capitalism.
- No pantsuits.
- Restructuring Obamacare.

I heard it wrong initially. But Trump does go on talking about how weak our military is a lot.
I'd have to hear the specific comments and understand the context to see what you're talking about -- if you think he is continuously disparaging the military -- as in the military personnel.
I seem to recall hearing him speak about our military being weak in a context similar to the one we are discussing -- him asserting bad decisions on the part of the Administration, resulting in weakening the military. That I see as a contention of bad leadership, not as disparaging the people of the military.

Correct, that's what Trump was referring to. The military isn't weaker under the Obama admin. They're making it up.

actually being weaker yet) relative to our looming foes, ie, Russia & China.
The latter in particular has made great strides against us.
But I don't see this change as an "Obama" issue.

I'd give more attention to hardening domestic infrastructure, utilities, & other strategic necessities.

I admit to creating an uneven intellectual playing field with observant Jews, Muslims, pescatarians, & vegetarians.
