Oklahoma schools in revolt over Bible mandate

Not being funny at all. It's time to stop being nice to leftists. Being nice to leftists has resulted in increasing levels of stupidity and perversion.
But there are growing numbers of right wingers opposed to what Ryan Walters is trying to do. One of them chimed in earlier on in this thread.

It's not legal, it's not constitutional nor is it appropriate.

No where does the Constitution say you can't teach the bible. It says the govt can't establish a religion. The bible is book like lots of other books like Rachel has two mommies.

Sure, teach kids how the Bible was written by humans, how it was edited, how it was used politically early in the 4th century, and how Christianity and Islam grew and fought. Teach about how Luther formed the protestant movement, and then that conclict with Catholics. Teach them about how Genesis isn't literal, and creationism if false. There is a lot to teach kids about the Bible.

I have no problem with that as long as you reach a balanced approach. I bet you sure as hell you don't want that. There is nothing leftists hate more than a balanced argument, except maybe Trump

I get it. You hate people you call "leftists", and you think of them as hypocrites because they won't admit that they hate Donald Trump. I notice that you have yet to use the word "hatred" to describe your own attitude towards leftists, but you deride others for not admitting that they hate Trump. Nobody likes to call themselves a hater, and I certainly don't think of myself as one. Do you?

You can't mandate the Bible be taught. And the Bible is already taught or used as reference in schools already. What Walters wants to do crosses the line forcing the Bible to be taught in every classroom and by people who may not adhere to or believe in it. Why does the Bible need to be mandated in a math class!? (Forced indoctrination, that's why)

If I hate it's no more than you.

Of course you can mandate it be taught just like all the garbage that's mandated now.

On the bright side, if twits like this guy get their way, pretty soon American school children will grow up too stupid to cook meth.
Fortunately, many students are immune to Christian
proselytizing in public schools. Back in the prior century,
before MM O'Hare booted the Bible, I endured elementary
school teachers leading us in prayer. They failed to turn me.
Even I (a slow learner) knew that their myths were stupid
& delusional.
So be optimistic. Some of us will be able to cook meth.
