For those interested in more details and background on the Trump bibles, see:
Trump is a critic of China's trade practices. His "God Bless the USA" Bibles were printed there.
Never before has a candidate for office turned his campaigns and time in office to more personal financial benefit than now. Everything he does is transactional. Everything is for sale.
Which aspect of the practices is he critical over? We know his bibles were printed there, and it's evident it involves some financial gain between the parties involved, Lee Greenwood being one of them. He's the "Proud to be an American" musician.
Is everything for sale? Really? I will burden you with Hitchen's razer on that one.
Your statements are true otherwise. I mean mostly. I'll need to burden you with Hichens razer on the never before statement, also .. as it relates to candidates acquiring financial gain while running for office, specifically.
LawyersIn case it hasn't been mentioned yet....
'OK has amended its Bible specifications
so that the Trump Bible isn't the only one
meeting them.
I guess that after getting caught, they
decided to be a wee bit less corrupt.

That is because they didn't have their Bibles to prove that pi = 3OK will spend millions to teach the Bible.

OK kids can't do math, but they'll be able
to recite the 10 Commandments....even
if they can't spell the words.

84% of 8th Graders Not Proficient in Math
In Oklahoma, nearly 6 in 10 young children from ages 3 to 4 were not in school, and 20% of high school students did not graduate on time. Over 75% of fourth graders were not proficient in reading and 84% of eighth graders were not proficient in math. These figures exceed the national trend. Moreover, they show a 10% decline over 2019, when 74% of eighth graders were determined not proficient in math. In addition, nearly 35 percent of children live in single-parent families.
Make America Dumb Again
A good overview of Trump's criticisms of China can be found in this archived White House document from the trump years: TRUMP ON CHINA PUTTING AMERICA FIRST. We are not disputing that the bibles were printed in China or that he stands to gain financially from their sale. Lee Greenwood is indeed a Trump supporter, but so what? Bruce Springsteen is a Harris supporter. He's the "Born in the USA" musician. If we are going to do a competitive bake-off of musician support for Trump and Harris, Trump will lose that competition.
Hitchen's Razor is a reasonable argument. Well, I cannot give you all of the details behind my belief in that everything is for sale with Donald Trump in a social media post, but I would refer you to an excellent book on the subject by Donald Trump's niece, Mary L Trump: Too Much and Never Enough. That was the first place I came across this notion that everything with Donald Trump is transactional, but she says that the attitude extended to their whole family. Others have leveled this criticism at him, but she is probably his most prominent critic in this regard. See, also, this article about her criticism:
‘Every Single Relation In My Family… Is Transactional,’ Says Donald Trump’s Niece
"increase revenue"? What do you mean by that? Increase what revenue for who?Is it such a bad thing to increase revenue?
"increase revenue"? What do you mean by that? Increase what revenue for who?
If you mean having the government take money from tax payers and give it to Donald Trump to increase his revenue, then yes, that is a bad thing.
Yes...when OK kids are among the dumbest inIs it such a bad thing to increase revenue?
It starts with reading comprehension and maths, but down that slippery slope comes critical thinking. And you know what people do who are capable of that? They vote democrat.OK will spend millions to teach the Bible.

Yes...when OK kids are among the dumbest in
the nation, & taxpayer money is taken from real
education to buy Bibles, & time is take from real
education to study those Bibles.
Yep kids are always ready for religious indoctrinationThe bible must be the most overrated single piece of historic literature in all the world. It's fine with by me. I honestly don't care. They're still going to make money. Taxpayer money, too. It's inevitable. You're right, it's a federal issue. The bible doesn't need belong in the schools. The kids can learn about how it has influenced the arts, music, theater, this nation's political dynamic for centuries on end at home or church, and we don't need any sort of religious inclusion to be pioneered by anyone, especially Christians. We don't need to learn how to address foreign nations in the future. I mean we don't need to prep them young. They can catch up at the University, along with learning how the bible and other religious texts played a role in world government. Our kids are ready for this. The next few years, I mean.
Yup, they are ready for this one.... Sure enough
I have a butter knife to cut through it if you need it.

The "S" is not to show my smile. I'm sure you noticed it in my avatar.
What's this world coming to?
I still remember Kosovo, Yugoslavia, Croatia, I read about the IRA and the struggles in Ireland, and I've witnessed Israel, Palestine, Iran, Iraq conflicts etc. on T.V. my entire life.
Religion isn't important to anyone anymore, man.
We're a secular nation.
I doubt it.Yep kids are always ready for religious indoctrination

Trying to be....but with resistance & subversion. We're a secular nation.
It's not inevitable.
It should be fought.
They don't need to know how it influenced anything.
But if they're to be taught it, then it should include
the negatives, eg, religious wars, slavery, oppression,
Manifest Destiny. Of course, the people who want
the Bible taught want only positive views.

It would be great if no one bought one.Who else is going to buy one?
It would be great if no one bought one.
But if one does buy it, they should use
personal money, not taxpayer money.
