Israel is able but then Palestinians would whine that all that happened was that they fired some rockets and in return they got a full blown "invasion". Besides conventional ground warfare would result in more civilian deaths. Palestinians and Leftish got another reason to whine about.The Israeli soldiers are afraid and cowards to fight them face to face, that is a painful fact to you.

No it isn't a good idea while the US is supporting poor Israel with advanced weapons and specially the air force.

With Israel around, Pope Francis can at least visit the place Jesus was born and lived. Imagine Israel didnt exist. There would have been no trace of Church of Holy Sepulchre left. It would have been blown up by some crazy Islamic terrorist long ago.

You know i could answer with reason, like that Israel only began to get US military hardware after they had beaten the Arabs again and again.
But i'll try a different approach.
They arent man enough to fight the IDF outside of Gaza. Even though they have all those Iranian rockets. A Kindergarten really is the easier target for a coward.
Well the IDF could try the Russian/Syrian approach to such a problem and level the entire city.

I think the very existence of the Catholic Church and the fact that it has as many supporters as it does are a problem. So?
The church also supplied the Nazis with baptismal records, which was their primary way of identifying Jewish people according to their definition: anyone with 1/4 Jewish ancestry (a standard that also originated with the church). It's unlikely that the Third Reich would have been able to perpetrate the Shoah on the scale that they did without the Churches collaboration.
While there were a few Catholic clergy speaking out against the Nazi's treatment of the Jews, there were others whole-heartedly endorsing it from their pulpits (for that matter, the first recorded instances of anyone calling for the out-right extermination of the Jewish people in modern times predate the Third Reich by almost 50 years and are attributed to Catholic priests).
While there were a few clergymen like Cardinal Angelo Giuseppe Roncalli (the future Pope John XXIII) who helped Jews escape, there were other priests who were actually members of the Nazi party.
There's a lot on both sides of the scale, but you have to look at both sides if you want any kind of an accurate picture.
