I am tending to agree with you.

The Father WHO IS GOD and LOVE and Spirit draws people to Jesus.

I believe that is the truth.

I will tell you what I found out about the Jehovah's Witnesses. They spend their time studying ways to be convincing people their way (which they believe is God's way) is the only way. According to that arrangement it is not God who draws people to Jesus Christ. It is convincing evidence that draws people to the congregation of God and only a few are actually drawn to Christ and those few have already been drawn to him. Christ is calling no more people to him (according to JW precept). The full number has been accomplished. Now they are searching for all the people who will become Jehovah's Witnesses for Paradise Earth.
I do not believe in eternal hell either, God will punish the wicked for a limited duration in the lake of Fire; I believe this also includes so called believers. I do not see the Lake of Fire as a negavtive punishment, it a pruning chastisement and very spiritual. Eternal heel was invented by Rome and passed down to all her baby sisters

Seriously? That's bizarre. I attended a Pentecostal church off and on for about 13 years and it was very emotional. Weeping at the altar, that sort of thing. Like you I slowly began to question all the dogma and broke free.
Just wanted to say there were some awesome things that happened to me in th Pentecostal churches little "c" but I am so thnkful I learned there is so much more.

Even the scriptures declares were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, which is the earnest of our inheritance not the full salvation

Eph 1:13-14
13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel
of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy
Spirit of promise,
14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased
possession, unto the praise of his glory.
(KJV)

From Strong's:

ἀσφάλεια

asphaleia

  1. firmness, stability
  2. certainty, undoubted truth
  3. security from enemies and dangers, safety
From my lexicon:

firmness; securely locked, without being fastened with nails
certainty, truth
safety, security

Why do some religious folks think their religion is the best and is something everyone should prescribe to?

Isn't it because of those words above by Nazz? Thank you Nazz.

I know there is a psych defence that goes like this: If a person feels threatened by another he will take the threat and turn it on the one he feels is threatening him.

For instance:

Someone will say "you are acting crazy" and the one acting crazy will say No!, you are! It doesn't matter if the one making the accusation is crazy or not. Maybe he is not crazy ever. But the one accused will deny he himself is acting crazy and he will be convinced the accuser is the one acting crazy. There is a clinical name for it, but I am not looking it up.

That is what I see Religion is doing. I'm sure it's not just the Jehovah's Witnesses doing it.

So when God's Word is put in the middle, it can't be good.

Maybe it doesn't make sense to you because it is not a person doing it. It is an organization doing it. I know for a fact the Jehovah's Witnesses act as one. That is how it can apply to them. Even Daniel and John (in Revelation) speaks of groups of people as one beast. So we have a beast accusing another organization of fullfilling a dire Bible prophesy when it is the beast that is doing it. Not only that; the beast convinces many to believe it isn't happening but WILL happen.

Isn't it possible that the Catholic Church was the first beast saying it and the offshoot Protestant churches are the other beast? They all take the warning that is for them and turn it on the unbelievers.

Do I not see that I am not well? Well....I seem to be saying I have special insight. But it just doesn't match THEIR special insight. It's so sad it 's funny.

ps Do you see it's another example of that psych defence I was talking about? I was talking? LOL

You want for me to spell it out? No? OK!

Oh ya. Um. They (I mean she) says I am unwell. I think what she means is crazy. I don't doubt her but her reason seems to be asque ASKEW LOL iLOVE SPELLING. And caps lock too. Both put a little spice init.

How so? If I am crazy to believe I have special insight and never once have confessed that I was a Bible character (there was that one time, but I was coming off drugs then) what are they who say they have special insight but not only special insight but The Special Insight? Please answer.

Oh I forgot to say that is another example of.....is it projection? Projecting one's own (so many words) failures onto another. Does anyone know? If I knew how to look it up, I might.

Let us consider the possibility I am crazy to believe something nobody else believes. Every original thought came from the mind of one. I think that is true. Does it mean that every person in the history of the World who originated a thought is crazy? No? Then why are you singling me out? I say "not fair".

I will tell you what I think is crazy. I think it is crazy to glom on to an original thought that's not true and run with it.

I'm going to try again just because I think I have nothing better to right now.

Please correct me if I am wrong. The lady thinks I'm crazy because I believe many things different than mainstream Christianity.

My question is; if it makes me crazy to believe different than the rest what does it make the faithful and discreet slave, who thinks different than the rest? It is a real question.

It is not a DIR. It is not a dog fight beween me and Jehovah's Witnesses. It is not a fight. I think I am being reasonable. If I am right it means all of Christianity is wrong. Isn't that something to talk about?

How many people on Earth are there who believe the Bible is God's word?

How many people are running with a lie? Does it matter? I am guessing it does matter.

It has been said more than once that everything I say about the Jehovah's Witnesses and their belief is twisted and wrong.

One thing I said was in case new light came to the governing body and it proved to be something that I have said which is twisted wrongness, it would then be untwisted rightness. She says that is not true. How so I ask?

I see the beast as our carnal earthy nature.
Babylon is how I see religion, all religion

Remember

Jeremiah 51:7 Babylon hath been a golden cup in the LORD's hand, that made all the earth drunken: the nations have drunken of her wine; therefore the nations are mad.
